Does anybody know who is the owner of Villa Sparta in Fiesole, Florence? The beautiful villa was the residence of Queen Mother Elena.

Are you referring to Alexander Von Hohenzollern?

No. The poster is speaking of Zizi Lombardo, the first 'wife' of Carol II of Romania. Their marriage was annulled around the time their one son Carol was born. Carol is dead but he has 2 sons,
The question is about his sons, grandsons of Carol II, and their rights (not sure why poste is only asking about the younger, Paul-Philippe is the older and would have the better claim). Carol Lombardo sued to be legitimized after his father died, succeeding in Portugal and France. The court battle was still being fought in Romania when he died, but the last ruling before he died was in his favor. Paul Philippe now claims he is the rightful king and not his uncle Michael. As of 2012, the court ruled PP as one of his grandfather's heirs.
The argument is that while Carol's parents marriage is recognized, it was not a dynastic marriage. Carol only claimed his father's financial inheritance, he never made any dynastic claim. His grandson is another matter, he is trying.

Isn't it easier and better for all here to refer to people by using their names, instead of devious circumlocutions?

Sometimes it is not easy to have a common opinion about surnames and titles.

Talking about a man, whose name is Alexander Hohenzollern, who AFAIK has always used that name, has never claimed the use of any other name, surname or of any title, or to whom nobody has ever attributed a different name, surname or title, I can't see the difficulty of referring to him directly by using his name Alexander Hohenzollern.

I suppose in his case that's quite clear.
Does anybody know if Mr Alexander Hohenzollern claimed any property in Romania?

Several years ago Alexander was listed as a claimant in one of the court cases that Paul initiated in Romania regarding the personal properties of the Royal Family; it does not seem to have been reported whether the younger brother actually received any compensations or restitutions.
He should technically be entitled to half of a 37.5% share in King Carol II's personal estate as one of the two sons of the King's eldest son Carol Mircea Lambrino.
Unlike his elder brother, Alexander is a very private person and has lived in the United States for many years.

His father abandoned his mother and himself when he was a kid. Didn't pay child support. in the 80s, police found Jeanne and Alex living in a car in NJ because they had no money. Works at a ski resort in Colorado. His paternal family did not come to his assistance to help with serious medical bills after his accident.

Villa Sparta at Fiesole was the favourite residence of the Queen-Mother for many years:

"Evenimentul zilei" speaks in an article about a meeting of Carol II and Mihai I in 1950. Any other source to support such a supposition?
