An outstanding victory for Radu.
Romanian prince wins libel battle - Telegraph
This could well be in the end of the magazine Royalty and it's editor Marco Houston who has been humiliated in Court today. His standing as a journalist now non existent and he now faces potential bankruptcy.

Romanian prince wins libel battle - Telegraph
Prince Radu of Romania accepted a public apology and ''substantial'' damages in the High Court in London over ''extremely grave'' magazine allegations about his title.
His QC James Price told Mr Justice Eady that in September 2004, an article was published in Royalty Monthly under the heading ''Scandal in Romania as Princess Margarita's husband is branded an imposter''. Mr Price said: ''In the article, the defendants alleged that there was a very strong case against the claimant that he was dishonestly claiming to have been granted the title 'Prinz von Hohenzollern-Veringen' by Friedrich Wilhelm Furst von Hohenzollern, the head of the Hohenzollern family, and that he was relying on a forged document to support his claims.''
''Within the same article, the defendants also alleged that the claimant was guilty of having been an officer in the Securitate secret police under the regime of communist dictator Ceausescu.''
The defendants - Marco Houston, editor of Royalty Monthly, and its publisher Sena-Julia Publicatus Limited - now accepted the allegations were ''wholly untrue'' and should never have been published.

It is rather startling to see in Marco Houston's statement and apology in Open Court that
"the wholly unfounded and extremely grave allegations have been defended over a period of some six years, a defence which has included the use of falsified documentation ....." (although the The Defendants point out that they had no knowledge of or part in the creation of this falsified documentation used in the course of the litigation)
I wonder what that all is about?

Now the husband of Princess Margareta has a title given bu his father in law, in agreement withy the new norms but in totally contradiction with the Constitution of 1923.

Their Royal Highnesses Crown Princess Margarita and Prince Radu of Romania attended a celebration in the memory of Dr. Alexandru Safran, Chief Rabbi of Romania (1940-1947), organized by The Federation of the Jewish Romanian Communities.
In the name of His Majesty King Michael I, Crown Princess Margarita received Dr. Alexandru Safran Medal for the important personal merit of Queen-Mother Helen in saving the live of Romanian Jews during the Second World War.
