Child's Day at Elisabeta Palace
On Sunday June the 3rd, the courtyard of the Elisabeta Palace became a land of games and childhood for one day. 200 children who take part in our projects, as well as our guests’, sponsors’ and collaborators’ children enjoyed a special event and a lot of gifts and surprises prepared by the Princess Margarita of Romania Foundation and its friends...

On 5 October 2007 The Princess Margarita of Romania Foundation held a gala at the Intercontinental Hotel in Geneva. Among the 200 guests: King Michael and Queen Anne of Romania, Princess Margarita of Romania and Prince Radu, Archduchess Marie-Astrid of Austria and her son Archduke Imre, actress Fanny Ardant, and Frédéric Mitterand.

Wow. The pictures on that blog are really gorgeous, especially the first. It's rare we see any decent pictures of the King and Queen as they are now so it's lovely to see them looking so well and active. The photograph of Archduchess Marie-Astrid is really something too, again, a very elegant Royal. Thanks for the link Benjamin!

Again, such beautiful photographs. Queen Anne is just fabulous and looks wonderful for her age. I must say that Prince Radu is doing wonders for the Royal Family PR wise.

I recall when they got married King Constantine who is P Margarita's God father, warned Radu in his speech that if he would not take care of her, he had to deal with him (KC)LOL
Thank God this marriage looks like it is a happy one.

Prince Radu Duda to join in the presidential election race this year
9 April 2009
Radu Duda, prince of Hohenzollern-Veringen, the son-in-law of King Mihai I, will announce this evening his candidacy to presidency, in the presence of his wife Princess Margareta, and explain the reasons behind, according to a release.
