It´s a pity, that Victor Ponta did lost the presidential election as he promised referendum on monarchy. Margarita and Radu looks very busy and hard-working.
I was surprised month ago when I learned they got an medal from our Ministry of Foreign Affairs. I can´t imagine this happening with Habsburgs..

Nobody promised anything. The prime minister said that could be a possibility in the future but did not promise anything.

Crown Princess Margarita and Prince Radu attended on 20 November at two events celebrating the 25th anniversary of the fall of communism.
At 9 am, at the Parliament Palace, Prince Radu was the guest of a round table on "constitutional monarchy in Southeast European countries".
At 11.30, Crown Princess Margarita represented His Majesty King Michael in the Great Hall of the Senate, at the inaugural session of the International Conference "25 years after the fall of communism in Central and Eastern Europe: looking back, looking forward". On this occasion, Prince Radu read the message of His Majesty King Michael.

IF HRH Princess Margareta was there and she represented HM the King why her husband read the Message? Have you ever seen HRH Crown Princess Victoria represinting at an event her father and let her husband read the Royal Message?

Maybe king Michael had asked his son-in-law to read his message?
Prince Radu visited Craiova on Monday. One of the many events was the ceremony of unveiling the bust of His Majesty King Michael, along with Mrs. Lia Olguţa Vasilescu, Mayor of Craiova.

Why should HM the King ask his son-in-law to read the Message when HRH Princess Margareta represented the Sovereign?

Do you know that HM the King asked his son-in-law to read it? Might he have asked his daughter first? Might she have suggested that her husband read it?
Without knowledge either of the facts or of the reasoning behind them, it seems at bit pointless to make an issue of it, don't you think?

The fact that HRH Princess Margareta usually let her husband speak in the name of the Royal Family even when she is present is one of the reasons a lot of people prefer her nephew and not her as future Sovereign.

He tries his best but he is considered by too many as the person who really leads the Royal Family.

I suppose a lot of people would like to know why they did not attend the Funeral of late Queen Fabiola of Belgium.
