No concrete sources, only claims, as usual.

Maybe we do not even need a thread with this name if Ms Medforth Mills is not envolved in any way in the life of her Family in Romania.

I can't say I'm surprised.

There is really no one who could take over the role after Margarita and has at least a similiar position to hers. That's a shame the King had no sons, shame Margarita has no children of her own who could in some way continue her work.
And the tradition and symbols can be carried on by the others, really. The Royal past would not die but real people connected with it would and that's natural to me in a former monarchy.

Mr Medforth Mills could represent his Family very well and maybe he would be less inclined to make compromises with the republican regime.

If there is no need in your eyes for this thread at all, maybe it does not need to be filled with non-topical spam and left for actual updates on Elisabeta-Karina de Roumanie Medforth-Mills or at the very least, relevant entries.

Now is an appropriate moment to ask you all to return the discussion to the topic of the thread, which is about Elisabeta-Karina De Roumanie Medforth-Mills.

Good heavens. When even Princess Elena and Karina Medforth Mills have no longer contact with their very own son resp. brother, the mystery only becomes bigger...
In the meantime Prince Jean and Princess Philomena d'Orléans invited him for the baptism of their youngest son. So while the former King, aunt Margarita, mother Elena and sister Karina have no contact anymore, the Orléans relatives still do... Unbelievable what is happening in the Romanian royal family. Now I understand why we never heard any reaction from Nicholas' sister Karina or her mother on the removal of Nicholas.
Maybe Karina will grow into a more public role in the advance of years, encouraged by aunt Margareta and mother Elena. We will see.

Ms Medforth Mills is few years younger than her brother and probably try not to be envolved in the family debates at all.

That seems a wise and mature thing to do.

The Romanian Royal Family is no more 'unbelievable' in their inner goings than most other families, people fall out, back in and have different relations to each other at various stages in life. It happens to us all, but when you happen to be born to an exiled royal family, you often get the added 'bonus' of media scrutiny and unwanted attention. It's hard enough for ordinary mortals to handle life, why should it be easier under the bright lights of cameras?
Elisabeta Karina has so far chosen to live her life in private, and as long as there is no monarchical restoration on the horizon in Romania, why would she compromise her life to appease some people pretending to be supporters, who actively undermine her family, just to stop their curious questions?
So far, she has done everything 'right', protecting her life and keeping her own affairs private, while the King did the only thing he could do, include every eligible member of the RRF in his suggested line of succession, a document for parliament to consider in the event of a restoration. Only if that question arises, would it be natural for Elisabeta Karina to clarify if she wishes to be in line or not, until then she can easily go on living the private life she desires.
