How great that the Romanian Parliament included the Royal Family in its plenary session. Romania might not be a constiutional monarchy (yet) but the Royal family is demonstating beautifully how and what it can contribute to the life of the state and the nation. HRH looks every inch a Sovereign-in-waiting, and a classy one at that, a worthy heir to her father.

On the occasion of the centennial of the great battles of Marasesti, Marasti and Oituz, Tuesday, July 11, CP Margareta and Prince Radu traveled with the Royal Train, from Focşani to Onesti, The Way of Thanksgiving. The royal family journey took place on the day that the first battle began, the one at Marasti.

The country is in an interesting situation. It is indeed a republic. Yet, there is currently a legislation waiting to be debated/voted upon by the Parliament regarding the solidification of the status of the Royal House of Romania into the legal code.

CP Margareta and Prince Radu arrived today in Amman, Jordan, where start tomorrow the official visit.
Princess Muna welcome them at the airport.
