The UAE Foreign Minister also said "the UAE is taking tangible steps to support the efforts of international community to develop peaceful uses of nuclear energy and curb proliferation of weapons of mass destruction."

He reiterated that the UAE government has continued with its efforts to settle its conflict with Iran, which has occupied the three UAE islands since 1971, through dialogue and peaceful approaches based on the principles of international law and charter of OIC.

"The UAE is still hoping Iran will respond to its repetitive calls to commence dialogue or both resort to International Court of Justice," he said.

No. Sheikh Sultan is married to his 2nd cousin or so. She is in her mid/late 40's.

Sheikh Khalifa's wife is not related to the royal family in any way.

Hi Dazzling - we got this information off of Wiki, don't know if it is correct or not. The cousin I was referring to was, the second spouse not the Al Mazouei. Isn't S. Mousour Bin Zayed and another brother S. Tahnoun Bin Zayed married into the Al Mazrouei tribe as well? Or am I mistaken? Just asking, I could be wrong. Thanks.

Sheikh Tahnoon bin Mohammed has 2 spouses, Shamma Al Otaiba & Sheikha Shamsa bin Zayed (Sheikh Khalifa's half sister)

Sheikh Khalifas wife is Al Mazroui & he has only one wife.

Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed's second wife is Al-Mazroui but they have no children & to reports they are divorced/seperated now.
Sheikh Falah bin Zayed was also married to Al-Mazroui, 2 children and divorced.

Hi Dazzling,

No, you have not misunderstood the question; thanks for answering it. The misunderstanding is with Wikipedia for stating that Sheikh Khalifa had two wives. It's also a surprise to me since history taught me that divorce is a taboo in the Middle East. Now, it is appearing to be very common. I'm concern considering when I give my training one of the things I stress is how "rich in culture" the middle east is. Hopefully, the unity of marriage would be restored.
