Saturday 14/10 the royal couple and crown princess celebrated SEB:s 150-årsjubileum, Stadshuset/Stockholm!
Who can give links to websites with information/pictures of the celebration?
Thanks in advance for help!

It's remarkable that nowadays a royal house mantains alive the tradition and the values that all the royal houses should have. In Portugal we don't have monarchy, only a few representatives of the ancient royals. But if there could be monarchy in Portugal again, I would like it to be like the swedish one: concerned about social and environmental causes, taking part in the main events, nice and friendly. But if I could choose a royal house I definetly WOULD'NT want to my country is the british one: it's the royal house of scandle.

Tonight the Kings uncle Carl Johan Bernadotte turns 90 and hosts a party at his home Kungsberga outside Båstad. He does not want to reveal the guestlist but probably members from both the swedish and danish royal familes will be there!
Dont know if there will be any official coverage of the party. Perhaps daughter Monica will give Svensk Damtidning a exclusive story :)

Count Carl Johan is one of Queen Victoria's two remaining great-grandchildren (the other is Lady Katherine Brandram, daughter of King Konstantine I and Queen Sophie of Greece).
I hope he's had a wonderful birthday. Does anyone know how his health is? I hope they release some pictures, turning 90 is a pretty big occasion!

Dont think anyone from Norway was there. They are not that close related as the danish and swedish royal families are. The King, crownprincess Victoria and I think the Kings sisters were there.

King Carl Gustaf, Queen Silvia and Crown Princess Victoria invited the members of the Swedish Parliament for dinner at the Royal Castle
I'm very glad that Crown Princess Victoria was able to attend this event. Queen and crown princess are looking very nice. I think that this shade of green colour suits Queen Silvia very well and her hairdo is very beautiful. However, I'm not sure about Victoria's hairdo. IMO it is too severe for her and her chin looks very sharp with this hairdo.

I liked victorias outfit at the supper, the top isn´t new but looks good on her, but isn´t the dress new? I can´t remember seing it before, even though we couldn´t see all of it now. The hairdoo looks nice even though a bit to serious (boring) for this event. The queen wears her dress for god knows wich time now, let´s just hope that she´s saving up for an spectacular dress to the Nobel, even though she usually doesn´t wear a new dress to that event - one can always hope.

Here we go...the yearly list on incomes for members of the Royal family...or
"quasi members". I´m surprised, that Daniel´s is that much. In an other article it was said, that he just took 325.000 for personal use out.
And I´m surprised, that Lilian has an income (?) I guess Jonas´income will be much higher in 2006. The same goes for Emma. In fact it already surprised me to see, that her income is that low. Hadn´t she worked a lot in 2005 in advertising agencies (?)
Income 2005 (In Swedish crowns)
Jonas Bergström--------------70 900
Christina Magnuson-----------0
Tord (Tosse) Magnuson------362 900
Carl Philip-------------------0
Carl XVI Gustaf-------------- 0
Lilian----------------------- 40 700
Madeleine------------------ 0
Silvia---------------------- 0
Victoria-------------------- 0
Emma Pernald-------------- 78 700
Daniel Westling------------- 426 900
