That´s Lisen Bratt, a horsewomen and a friend of Madeleine. That photo was taken in Gävle in 2001

Isn´t that baby Madeleine on the first baby-picture ( the Queen has a totally different hair-style- 80ties-style and the babies are looking different)?

It could be, IBL said it was Victoria but they have been wrong before

As an aside, the King looks roughly the same. Could it be a case that the first picture was taken shortly after birth, and the second is on Solliden a while later (which would give time for a hair style change)?

That first baby picture is from 1982 and its baby Madeleine in the Kings arms.

I think that the picture in the Victoria picture thread, with the queen wearing the pearl necklace and the king blue jacket, that is the first official photo of Madeleine. It´s already concluded that it´s not Victoria and as I remember it from that year ( but I was quite young then...) that is the picture you are looking for.

That are pictures of the baptism (just look at the bassinet..isn´t that incredible? I wonder if the Royal children of the younger generation really spent their baby-year in that bassinet.).
Maybe there was really just one picture of new-born Madeleine (And I remeber some of the summer 1982 at Solliden). I remember that some things were changed when the royal couple got the third child (the king made a "baby-course" and Madeleine was born at Drottningholm.)...so maybe they also wanted less media-coverage for their youngest child.

There is a closeup picture of baby Madeleine taken summer 1982 at Solliden. Very cute =) I have the picture, when I have time I´ll scan it for you.

There was one official photo call at Solliden but other than that I think the royal family wanted Madeleine for themselfs. Other than the pictures from her baptism ofcourse.
and no, I dont think that she slept in that gold bassinet. I´m sure she had a normal "crib" just like all other babies.

Well, when Madeleine doesn´t all this styling/tanning/make up she still looks a lot like Victoria...

Is that a dyed Vickan or just Madde???

You´re right! They do look a lot alike when Madeleine isn´t wearing makeup and have more casual clothes..
I wonder if they would have look even more alike if Madeleine wouldn´t have dyed her hair blonde and looked more like she did in 2000...

Would be a very interesting project...Madeleine avoids the sun and the tanning bed, she uses contact lenses, which are coloured brown, she plucks her eyebrows and dresses her up just in jeans + T-shirt and she wears glasses and she let grow her hair in natural colours..
And than we send Victoria in a solarium (for about ten times), than she should wear contact lenses with a correcting effect + a blue colour, she should dye her hair blonde (I´m suprised that she has ALWAYS her natural hazelnut-brown-colour-just with some highlights...), then she should try a more "steped" (I fear that´s the wrong word) hair-style, then loads of make-up and a dress with frills...wouldn´t that be fun to watch that :woot:
