Monarquia Confidencial about how Estelle attends with her parents to their work events, like on Wednesday to a meeting with FUB, the Swedish National Association for Persons with Intellectual Disability, an advocacy organisation working to enable children, young persons and adults with an intellectual disability to lead a good life.

Svensk Damtidning wrote last week that it is whispered that Estelle will go to Lilla Kvikkjokk preschool, which is in a nice green house at Biskopsudden in Djurgården, and is driven by economic association where parents are co-owners. There is 33 children from one to five years. It is very parent cooperative and means extra commitment of all mothers and fathers, with evenings of cleaning and to substitute if a teacher or cook gets sick. Also doing the laundry and ironing once per semester is at the program.

This is a kindergarten right? And do the children attend there the whole day?

Once again, Svensk Damtidning had wrong information.
Princess Estelle starts preschool/kindergarten Äventyret (Adventure in english) in Danderyd (suburb north of Stockholm, about 10 kilometres from Haga Palace) on Monday 25 August. There will be a photo opportunity for the media.
The Royal Court wishes media to show respect towards the crown princess couple, princess Estelle and other children and their families afterwards, since they arrange this photo opportunity.

From Expressen
On Monday Princess Estelle starts at a preschool. It will be open-air promoting pedagogy with new and old friends on the adventure of Djursholm.
It became Ur och skur -kindergarten Äventyret in Djursholm for Princess Estelle.
- The Crown Princess couple has received recommendations from friends regarding preschool Äventyret and believe very much in Ur och Skur -pedagogy, which among other things gives children the knowledge of nature and being outdoors a lot, says Margareta Thorgren from the press department.
Ur och Skur -pedagogy is based on the belief that children learn through play and through moving a lot. Most of school time is spent outdoors, where children have natural curiosity and help to learn things. Äventyret is a preschool where children need sturdy and warm clothing, and the youngest children sleep outdoors. The backpack is used as a working tool, and during the many outdoor activities the children should have provisions from home with them.
Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel have visited Äventyret, and because they have friends with children in the same school, Estelle will get both new and old friends on Äventyret.
Preschool is a parent cooperative, including fixes days and trustees, and parents themselves will represent a department under the child's time at school.
- The Crown Princess couple will be involved in pre-school just like other parents, says Thorgren.
Äventyret says they offer a gender-neutral environment, small groups of children and trained teachers. It also has Green flag certification which means that you are actively working on sustainable development.
- Princess Estelle will be at the preschool during weekdays. The Crown Princess couple wants that she is in preschool just like other children, says Thorgren.

I think this is the best decision concerning "royal education"! It's time for Estelle to mingle with other children! Well done Victoria and Daniel!
And thanks for the info LadyFinn

WOW! Sturdy clothing and sleeping outdoors. Sounds more like boot camp than pre-school. Being outdoors a lot sounds like fun though and a great place to learn.

Wish there were Preschools like that here in Canada. Sounds like a great experience and footing in being responsible to and among Nature/our Environment. Can't wait to see the photos on Monday.
