I haven´t read that before...but couldn´t it be, that Expressen made a mistake...wrote "start" instead of "finish" or whatever.
Because IMO it´s strange that he does the very same, what he did in the past 1,5 years (a 2 year long education as graphical designer at Forsbergs school). Wouldn´t it be more logical, that he would finish it in winter?
Further the prince said in an interview in spring, that he would start an other military training.
Very mysterious.

Prins Carl-Philip klär sig för gubbigt.
Hans flickvän Emma klagar - och nu får prinsen hjälp av världens kungligaste stylingakut: sin syster Madeleine.
Den senaste tiden har prinsessan Madeleine och Carl-Philips flickvän Emma vallat prinsen i Stockholms hetaste klädbutiker.
- Det är slut på trista pikétröjor och rutiga Eton-skjortor. Emma tycker det känns för gubbigt på Carl Philip, berättar en av vännerna.

Tuffare image
Prinsen vill ha en tuffare image, och Madeleine har hittat mycket inspiration hos sin pojkvän Jonas Bergström när hon har tänkt ut Carl Philips nya look.
Carl Philips garderob har därför utökats med tighta herrtoppar, halsdukar och skjortor i olika mönster.
Jonas Bergström brukar också följa med under shoppingturerna för att ge tips till prinsen.
- Jonas är oerhört medveten om vad han har för kläder, ja nästan lite fåfäng. Han bär alltid det senaste och ser direkt om nåt inte passar på Carl Philip, berättar vännen.
Prinsessan Madeleine och prinsens flickvän Emma Pernald är också de mycket modemedvetna och läser de utländska modemagasinen.

Victoria ointresserad
För en tid sedan lämnade gänget NK med en mängd shoppingkassar i händerna. De besökte Paul & Friends, Boss och Tiger, Gucci och Filippa K.
I trendbutiken Artilleri2 på Östermalm handlade prinsen nya jeans - av samma modell som Jonas Bergström bär: Paul & Joe.
Kronprinsessan Victoria är inte med i prinsens nya stylingakut.
- Till skillnad från sina syskon är hon inte alls lika intresserad av vad hon har på sig för kläder, säger en av kompisarna.

I think Carl Philip and Emma will eventually get married, but I don't think either is in a rush. You more or less give up any free choice you had as a "commoner." You're life is always lead in the public spotlight and I have a feeling that with the Joachim and Alexandra divorce starting to creating a huge demand for royal gossip, Emma would become a hot source of cheap tabloid gossip.

Not that I don't want to put a damper on the marriage idea, but maybe Carl Philip has already asked and she needs to think things over. Or maybe niether wants to get married yet. Plus with the higher than normal divorce rates in royal circles, maybe it would be best for them to wait till they are a little older and more mature and ready for a very public marriage. Granted, the Swedish royals seem like a more stable family than most of the other European royals, I still think it would be a shock for anyone marrying into the family how different life is in royal courts.

I don't think anyone knows for sure how this would be, but we can speculate. The wife of Prince Carl Philip will be most probably be styled Princess - not much more than that is known.

The case with The King's sisters has to do with the old ways of the Royal Court - they were born into a time when it was still very unmodern, old fashioned and stiff. They were expected to marry Princes, and were all quite controlled before marriage.

I myself expect Prince Carl Philip and his future wife to take on an active role in the Royal House, performing official duties on a regular basis. I don't know what the Swedish people thinks really, this hasn't been discussed much, but I suppose others feel like I do.

Swedes love to think of their royals as ordinary, down-to-earth sorts. And indeed, pictures this week of Princess Madeleine trying to sort out her brother’s ‘fogeyish’ dress-sense might have made them look like any other family. It was left up to the king himself to show his offspring the way to party royally.

Another royal for whom fast cars are becoming a habit is Prince Carl-Philip, Duke of Värmland. The young prince has been dubbed ‘The Duke of Vroomland’, after his debut as a racing driver in a competition in Karlskoga. The prince, driving a Volvo S40, came eighth in the race, out of a field of twenty-four.

“It went better than I had dared to hope,” was Carl Philip’s assessment of his performance.

Still, if Carl-Philip cuts a dash on the racing circuit, the same can hardly be said for his performance in the fashion stakes. Aftonbladet has declared that the young prince dresses “like an old man.” But the paper was on hand this week to report that the prince was getting lessons in style from his sister, Madeleine.

The force behind the makeover of Carl-Philip is his girlfriend, Emma, but it was Madeleine whom Aftonbladet credited with creating a new look for the prince. Madeleine and Emma were spotted taking him round exclusive Stockholm boutiques town in search of new togs.

The group were reported to have left NK, an up market Stockholm department store, with “loads of bags”, and were also said to have stopped by Gucci and Boss on their rounds.

Crown Princess Victoria, however, was not participating in her brother’s makeover. “She’s not half as interested in clothes as her siblings,” a friend told Aftonbladet.

Nor will she be shopping for a wedding dress any time soon, it seems. A German gossip magazine, Woch der Frau, was forced to print a correction after it claimed that Victoria was about to get married. Her lawyer, the appropriately named Matthias Prinz, has made the magazine print a front-page correction stating that the princess has “no wedding plans for the time being.”

But at least when the happy day arrives, she’ll have her own makeover guru close at hand.

I would think that in the FAR future...it would probably be at the wish/need of then Queen Victoria as to how much (or how little) she wants them to do. I would guess that for a time it would be her, her spouse, and her brother and sister, she would not be able to do everything alone. King Carl Gustaf came to the throne and was quite young...so now he has three (almost) grown children to help him out. At least for a while the possibility is there that Victoria wouldn't have children old enough to help out. So in that case i would think that Carl Philip and Madeline and their spouses would be active.

I think they will stay closer to the future Queen, because they probably will marry Swedes and will live in Stockholm, further the current Royal siblings are more friends with each other than the king with his sisters (which is explainable through the huge age-differences). And what else should Madeleine do with her future (yeeeaass-> ouch )

The Kings order: protect the prince

To guarantee prince Carl Philips safety, the king has hired a private security team to protect the prince. Now Carl Philip is followed by two armed bodyguards when he´s out in Stockholm.
This weekend, when he was at Cafe Opera celebrating his close friend Jan Åke Hansson´s birthday, he was escorted by two armed bodyguards.
At 3 o´clock the prince was driven home, as neither he or his sisters are allowed to stay out longer due to security reasons.
Earlier it has only been the king, queen and the crown princess that have had protection, but now both Carl Philip and Madeleine have bodyguards.
The ones that are protecting the prince comes from the same private security team that used to be with the princess. Now the princess has bodygurads from the swedish police, as the the treaths agains her is more serious than before.
Its the royal couple who has decided that Carl Philip is in need of protection. They are worried abouth him when he´s out at night.

Två beväpnade livvakter följer nu prinsen på Stockholms krogar.

Tidigare har prins Carl Philip rört sig utan personskydd i Stockholms city och på innekrogarna.
- Det har inte funnits någon anledning. Han har levt ett tillbakadraget och ganska anonymt liv. Dessutom är det Victoria och Madeleine som drar till sig mest uppmärksamhet, säger en källa.
Nu har säkerheten kring prinsen skärpts. Kungaparet har anlitat ett privat säkerhetsbolag som skyddar Carl Philip.

Motade bort gäster
När han i fredags natt besökte Café Opera för att fira sin bäste vän Jan-Åke Hanssons födelsedag eskorterades han av två beväpnade livvakter.
Männen höll sig tätt intill prinsens bord där de bland annat motade bort ovälkomna gäster.

Festade vidare
När Carl Philips vänner festade vidare på Stureplan kördes han hem av sina vakter. Av säkerhetsskäl besöker aldrig Carl Philip eller Madeleine krogar efter klockan 03.
Initiativet till den ökade bevakningen kommer från kungaparet som allt mer oroar sig för Madeleine och Carl Philip när de är ute om nätterna.
Till skillnad från den övriga kungafamiljen skyddas Carl Philip inte regelbundet av Säpo.

Bedömer hotbilden
- Vi arbetar med honom vid speciella tillfällen och bedömer naturligtvis hotbilden regelbundet, säger Anders Kassman, chef för Säpos personskyddsenhet.
Prinsens livvakter kommer från samma företag som skyddade prinsessan Madeleine, innan hotbilden växte och Säpo tog över ansvaret.
Det är Rikspolisstyrelsen som ger tillstånd till privata firmor att bedriva personskyddsuppdrag.
- I vissa situationer är de beväpnade, säger Anders Kassman.

I dont think SÄPOs budget can handle complete protection of all members of the royal family. and in a way I´m kinda happy with that, as I´m one of the people who are paying for it
but ofcourse, I dont want anything bad happend to them so having a private bodyguard is perfect imo!

Lokala ordningsföreskrifter för hund i Stockholm.

Hund skall hållas kopplad på alla offentliga platser. Undantag är de områden där kommunen anordnat hundrastplatser. Hundägare ska ha sådan tillsyn över sin hund att den inte orsakar skada eller obehag, orsakar hunden skada är ägaren alltid ersättningsskyldig. För ledarhund och polishund i tjänst gäller andra regler.

Prinsen riskerar böter för sin promenad i Stockholm
Genom att rasta sin hund utan koppel har han brutit mot de lokala ordningsföreskrifterna i Stockholm.
Norrmalms polisstation fick i går ta emot en polisanmälan mot Carl Philip.
- Bestämmelserna är klara om vad som gäller. Man får inte ha hundar lösa i centrala Stockholm, säger Anders Krook, stationsbefäl vid Norrmalmpolisen.
- Lagen gäller lika för alla. Detta kan möjligtvis ge böter.

Okopplad i stan
Prins Carl Philip rastade rottweilertiken Gila som han har tillsammans med sin sambo i helgen.
Hunden fick vara okopplad både i Gamla stan och på Gärdet i Stockholm.
Prinsen är van hundförare.
Kungafamiljen har alltid haft hundar, favoriten just nu är en gul labrador som heter Jambo.
På hovet väljer man "att göra en pudel" som man säger när någon erkänner utan försök till undanflykt.
- Prinsen har begått ett fel och kan bara beklaga det han gjorde, säger hovets presschef Ann-Christine Jernberg.

She only said, that CP was on the way from his apartment to his car. That he´s an experienced dog owner. And then she quoted a law, which says, that the dog owner should supervise his dog and she could care that the dog doesn´t cause troubles. She adds that CP has done that.


Hmm, wouldn´t it be easier to say simply, that he is sorry? Further the dog wasn´t on the lead in the pictures on the meadow too (I don´t think that there´s a big meadow between CP´s apartment and his car).

Personally I always prefer, when such dogs (Rotweiler, Pitbulls...) are on the lead. When I meet them on the street, I don´t know, how this dog was educated. I´m quite sure, that CP´s dog is harmless...but he should act as role model (sorry hottie, that I´ve critiziced you )
