Iceflower, thanks for the information and pic - great work!

Great party with evening dresses - the queen wear an old skirt.

Yesterday evening the royal couple attend the "Crafoord prize" at Kungl. Vetenskapsakademien.

Only pics of the king by celebrated the prize to Walter Munk.

But where was the queen? Once more an event without pics with her!

I don't understand that either. I don't see why we can't see pics of her at these events.

Thank you very much for posting these pics, iceflower!
Queen Silvia is repeating an older suit here, but I like the all-white look with the 'dripping' effect of the sequins.

Iceflower, thanks very much for posting the beautiful pics of arrival to Crafoord-Prize!
Great work, last year we don't see pics of the queen by this event, only the king!

King Carl XVI Gustaf was in great spirits last Saturday when he inaugurated the summer exhibition at Solliden pavilion. The exhibition is about the royal wedding.
- We thought long about what we would choose the topic of this year, said the king, and was met with spontaneous laughter.

Nice pics. I love seeing them together. Must be wonderful working with your spouse.

Does anybody know what the King is called by his wife and sisters, etc? Is he called Carl, Gustaf or another of his names?

What about Carl Phillip? Does anybody know what he is called on a daily basis by his sisters, etc?

King Carl Gustaf handed out the King´s medals today.
Singer Siw Malmkvist would receive a medal by the king - but instead became the king who received the "Siwan".The much loved entertainer was saved by the king when she fell on the red carpet.
- Had he not been there, she had fallen over, says Patrik Osterberg, a photographer, who saw the whole thing.
