Boris, thanks for posting the link to the beautiful pic of Diggiloo-concert!

It's the first one we can see the couple good!

smiling

I found another nice pic of The King & Queen at the Digiloo outdoor concert on Friday, looking to be in a great mood:

I wish he was photographed smiling more often...he often looks too serious! This is a cute picture.

Yesterday afternoon the queen celebrated stipendium of "Kungaparets Bröllopsfond".

Unfortunately without press. The last years the court publish few pics of this event!

On Saturday the Queen celebrated a Lunch for Foreign Minister in castle of Stockholm. Great, why don't attend the King?

Ursulajohanna, it was not a lunch for the ministers but for the European minister’s wives during their husband’s EU Stockholm meeting, so it’s appropriate that Queen Silvia hosted it on her own at the Palace.
Less appropriate is that the Royal Court apparently did not even issue a single hand-out photo… nothing. It’s not exactly a low-profile occasion during Sweden's EU Presidency, and this kind of neglect is bad PR work too.

Thank you Ursulajohanna!
So they did remember the occasion after all. The stamp-sized pics on the royal website, which you can't even enlarge, remain an annoyance though.

King Carl Gustav of Sweden, along with Crown Prince Haakon of Norway, attended the opening of the Ytre Hvaler National Park and Kosterhavet National Park, the first under sea park in Scandinavia. Hvaler, Norway.

The Kosterhavet National Park is a joint Swedish / Norwegian project. Kosterhavet (or the Koster Sea) is on the west coast of Sweden, bordering Norway, and is a valuable recreational resource. The Kosterhavet National Park is located in Strömstad and Tanum Municipalities (both are in Sweden and border Norway) and includes (water) territories from both countries.
It is the very first marine national park of Sweden.

During this week the Queen has many official events and we don't see no or very little pictures of her work - For example: Meeting "Swedish Care Institut", Diplome for "Pediatrisk Forskning" (Frimurare Barnhuset), Diplom "Majblomans" (little pic) concert Kungl. Philharmoniker and "Music pa Slottet" .....

Thank you, LadyFinn!
The first pic actually shows Queen Silvia back in spring, when she traditionally bought the very first Mayflower of the year.
Along with last night's jubilee dinner for the 100th anniversary of the Stockholm School of Economics, there were three night time engagements last week of which there are no pictures at all so far...

LadyFinn, thanks for the information - I agree with you and Boris.

But "Majblom" Diplom-ceremony is the only one of this week we see pictures - the other five events don't publish pictures! We know, this all were official events and not private!!!

Thanks to all for your information and pics from the last events.

It's great to see this week from all official events pictures of the royal family! It was a very busy week of the queen.

Here a little video from press-meeting "Barnkonvention" in Bernadotte-Bibliothek yesterday morning:
