But luckily the other media quotes the article. From Expressen:
The Crown Princess has a great commitment to the climate with a particular focus on sea and water.
In a major interview with Dagens Nyheter , Victoria tells about her work at the UN and how she has got Oscar and Estelle interested in environmental issues.
- Estelle wondered why we sat on a dump and ate pancakes, and then we talked about it, she told to the newspaper.
Crown Princess Victoria shares several personal experiences concerning her environmental commitment in the interview with Dagens Nyheter.
At the end of the DN interview, Victoria tells that she had an excursion with her children to Haga Hill, which is at Haga Park, and consists of demolition masses from the old Clara Quarter in Stockholm.
The purpose was to teach the prince and the princess of recycling.
- I told the children that we should now climb a mountain, and then I stood all morning and made pancakes. Little brother got his own backpack. And we pretended it was the hike of the world. It takes ages to walk when you go with a two-year-old. Then we got up and it was amazing. There is a stone with the text "in memory of the Clara Quarter" and Estelle wondered why we were sitting on a dump and ate pancakes, and then we talked about it. Then on our way home we picked plastic and everything possible. And then Oscar came and he was so pleased, because he had found something. Then it just became "no, let it go, let it go!
The happy little prince came running with a small plastic bag.
- Then I thought, "Oh, now I've gone too far, now he comes with a dog poop bag, says Victoria to DN.

Unless the fishing industry changes, the world faces "a collapse of ecosystems", said Crown Princess Victoria in a longer interview with DN about her commitment to climate issues in general and the world's seas in particular.
- I feel very worried about these questions. It's also why I'm engaged, she says.

Crown Princess Victoria has long had the climate issue as one of the closest to the heart. In a big interview with Dagens Nyheter, the Crown Princess is talking about her work for the seas, but also how it affected the family.
Estelle was not covered with sand, but microplaster. Victoria had never seen it with her own eyes, on the other hand, she was aware of the phenomenon. To see it for the first time when it also hit her eldest child deeply impressed the crown princess, and she describes how she changed her attitude accordingly.
- First, it was an aha experience. Well, this is what everyone has talked about. But then it became a great worry and a feeling of unease. I didn't want to eat more fish and I didn't want her to bathe there anymore. But what are you doing? she says to DN.
For three years, Crown Princess Victoria is one of 17 ambassadors for the UN Global Sustainable Development Goals. When Victoria first got the question, she described how she hesitated and questioned what she had done, that there might be someone who was better suited. But in the end she decided to face the challenge.

Svensk Damtidning about DN's article
Crown Princess Victoria. Strong. Charming. Well-prepared.
In some way, she has become an expert of making leaders act, and connecting people who can benefit from each other. Just this is evident in a new interview she made with the newspaper DN.
During the various meetings with DN, she talks about her cooking skills, a lovely walk with the children who went a little way far, about their climate anxiety and how the royal life goes hand in hand with an environmental commitment.
- It's not easy. Everybody flies here and there to all these international meetings, is that so good? You can absolutely wonder. I always try to ensure that what I'm doing is sensible and good meetings that will lead to something. It should not only be nice, it should be concrete and relevant. One tries to take the train or meet another place to minimize travel.
And there is also food, about eating more vegetarian, as part of the environmental struggle. She tells her that she has changed her eating habits in recent years, that it is now natural for her to eat vegetarian.
When you, as a journalist, see the Crown Princess at all these meetings, she always seems to be confident and urbane. But during the interview in DN we are told that she is looking for advice from friends as Crown Prince Haakon who has worked more internationally than she has done. And when she was asked to become an ambassador to the UN's global sustainable development goals, her self-confidence wavered.
But Victoria realized that this could give her a new platform to stand in her struggle for a better environment on our planet. And with this platform we have got a Swedish climate fighter that is respected and popular. Knowledgeable and well-prepared. She's up for the climate on the agenda at a time when the climate easily ends up in the shadow of something else and the existence of climate change is even questioned.
- You can see fishing issues as political if you want to. You can see them as sensitive questions. But it's so infinitely much bigger. In my eyes, it is one of the most important questions. Here we face a collapse of ecosystems. Then we must be able to work in one and the same direction. We must ensure that the world's population has food in the future and we will not manage nine or ten billion inhabitants if we don't care for the seas and don't grow fish and shrimp. Agriculture is as wide as possible. Now with increased drought and harder weather it is tougher.
