Yes, they were; after all a modern queen like Rania backs up their position in the Muslim world, which makes them a significant part on the background of the community. :flowers:
 
What is the dish they're eating? I saw QR eating it during another visit a few weeks ago. What are the bowls of milk for?

It's mansaf. It's the national dish of Jordan. The bowls of milk is jameed (type of yogurt) it's a very essential part of the dish.

it's nice to see Rania that often in Jordan I don't even remember when the last time she was outside:D
great to see her doings things home.
 
Arab women like Rania are so important in the past, present and future of the Middle East.

Compare her with the Saudi women who aren't allowed even to drive a car...

Kingdom, Ukraine sign five deals to boost ties | Jordan Times
His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday held talks with Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych which focused on boosting bilateral relations, as the two sides admitted that much has to be done in that regard. The two-way talks, followed by a broader meeting attended by HRH Prince Ghazi Ben Mohammad, the King’s special adviser and personal envoy, and several officials, addressed means to push cooperation between the two countries, especially in the economic field.

King tours Baqaa refugee camp | Jordan Times
HM King Abdullah on Saturday toured the Baqaa refugee camp and instructed authorities to upgrade services provided to residents. At a meeting with representatives and notables from the camp, which lies 13km north of Amman, King Abdullah directed concerned agencies to take action on the needs of the camp’s residents that include the creation of a slaughterhouse to address environmental problems in Baqaa, the largest of the Kingdom’s 13 refugee camps.
