It is a pity we don't see more photos of the First Lady and Mary inside the wonderful Rosenborg castle. It is a very impressive castle of artifacts.

Thank you Iceflower for posting the link. I always love to see Mary escorting the First Ladies to this wonderful castle, as it contains such fascinating history.

The BB coverage of the state visit is pretty shallow, to put it mildly!

However here are a couple of details that may be of interest.

The dress our Marie wore at the gala was from Max Azria.
Mary recyled a dress from Kenth Fredin.

At the return dinner, Marie wore a dress by Rikke Gudnitz - and Frederik wore a golden tie. (Which would no doubt have left the legendary valet Jeeves in a state of shock).
