Great Royals , great pictures , great city of Dresden completely restorated after that terrific night in 1945.
I don' t know if it is hot in Dresden as it is in my country but I noticed that people of Dresde were impressed by her royal person , wearing hat, gloves and white stockings.
Your MM Queen Elisabeth II , Beatrix and Margarethe II , are you the very last royal Royals ??

Thanks for the photos, Iceflower! I love the exterior photo of Eckberg Palace. I've never seen this palace before. It is very beautiful!

You are most welcome Although living in Germany, I haven't
either, sgl but it really seems worth visiting.
I've noticed that the gettyimages gallery from yesterday was
updated with today's pics, so you can check out the link
above for pics from today as well. This one is also nice:

jp.dk - Dronningen mødte kongen
The title says, "The Queen met the King". It talks about how Queen Margrethe and Princess Benedikte met King Christian IV-in the form of a bust. They attended an exhibition that commemorates the 300th anniversary of the visit to Dresden by King Frederik IV.

Does she have much of a Danish accent? Because her English always sounds so perfectly British it's almost hard to believe she isn't a native speaker.

The title means that she was offered a full programm of events
(the ballet, the visit to the museum and so on), it's not meant
in the way that she herself offered anything or that she did get
something we do not know so far
One funny thing in that video was the comment of the director general
of the state art collection Dresden, he said that it wasn't easy to show
the Queen around, as she knew very well what she wanted to see (..and
what not, but he didn't say so of course )

Thanks, Iceflower! The title was kind of funny. I would love to know what it was that the Queen didn't want to see .
