Some of the Danes other than Anne-Marie speak Greek? Why would they have learned that language? They could have just spoken English to Constantine and the children.

I once read somewhere I cannot remember that Frederik and Joachim spoke Greek, and that Pavlos spoke Danish. I know they all speak english so that might be the common language between them all.x

Interesting - that's cool about Fred and Joachim since Greek seems like it would be a difficult language. Do Alexia and Constantine speak any Danish? Does Margrethe speak any Greek?

I don't think that Margrethe speaks any Greek; kongehuset.dk list the languages she speaks as being Danish, French, Swedish, English and German. And actually, again according to their official website, neither Frederik nor Joachim speak Greek - although they might be able to hold a basic conversation or something, I don't know.

I have read that Pavlos and his siblings are able to speak Danish. I don't know about Constantine.

As you know Queen Margrethe is farmor (paternal grandmother) to eight children and here is an eleven pictures gallery from Familie Journalen: Dronning farmor - - Familie Journal

Five "caption this".

As I've mentioned elsewhere they are usually not very funny, but sometimes, sometimes, they've got that cheeky edge that makes it funny.

You are welcome.

I vaguely remember reading something about this being caused by some less than flattering portraits in a folder Frederik and Joachim had been given.

You'll find more from this particular series of pictures here: Billed-Bladet - Prinsesse Marie samler brødrene

More especially selected "caption this".
Selected either because I think they are funny or because I like the pics.

Thanks Muhler - another round of laughs! And thanks for the article on the "funny faces". Most entertaining except for the South Korean officials who put together the folders...
