Hey
The national anthem of Denmark is called 'Der er et yndigt land', which in English means 'There is a Lovely Country'. It was adopted in 1835. The lyrics have been written by Adam Oehlenschläger and the music has been composed by Hans Ernst Krøyer. Culture in Denmark - Confidus Solutions

I love the way the Queen and Prince Henrik would show their love for each other. From your post 224.
Just nice gentle little touches between them is so heartwarming.

Splendid photo from 1984: Queen Margrethe II and Prince Henrik on an official visit to Lisbon in Portugal with their two sons - Princes Frederik and Joachim.

I did not know that Prince Frederik and Prince Joachim had participated in the state visit to Portugal.

I always enjoy the one picture I saw of Margrethe drawing for something on her hands and knees on the stage. Simply because sovereigns are not usually thought to do that. But with her, of course, I get the feeling that wasn't a one-off.
How awful that she used to end up on the ground involuntarily; I guess it was due to her leg? I'm glad that doesn't happen these days. It would be quite dangerous at her age.

Indeed, it isn't a one off.
I know what photo you mean, can't find it right now, so here's a photo of QMII as an extra: https://images.jfmedier.dk/images/b/...0_581c1101.jpg

These pictures are amazing! I love the black and white ones. Princess Margrethe and Princess Benedikte - that was so sweet!

Queen Anne-Marie of Greece with Prince Charles of Wales and Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark when Queen Margrethe II and Prince Henrik of Denmark, celebrated their Silver Wedding on June 10, 1992.

Is there really one of young Joachim dressed like a chicken?

I do believe so. As some sort of poultry at least.
