Are there any photos of Princess Elisabeth attending the recent New Year Courts?

The cape is gorgeous. :flowers: The purple color is amazing and goes so well with the beautiful white gown. I think Mary chose well.

Mary wore a blue dress from Prada at the New Year court for the diplomatic corps. Her LiW, Tanjo Doky wore a light blue dress by Piia May, recycled from 2013.

Diplomats from no less than 77 nations were present, many of them wearing national costumes.
Due to QMII's bad knees and PH's poor back, they both sat down.
After haven welcomed the diplomats, the doyen of the diplomatic corps gives a speech, after which they all, according to seniority, line up to personally greet the DRF. Then there is reception in an adjescent room.

There was also a court for the top three classes of ranks in DK and this year 790 had shown up.
M&F arrived first at 9.22 while the Regent Couple arrived in a carriage escorted by the Guards Hussars.
And in case you are interested 140 liters of coffee and sixteen kilos of cookies were served for the guests.

NEW YEAR'S BANQUET AND -KURE 2016

The royal couple will hold New Year's Banquet and -kure 1, 5 and 6 January 2016.

Friday, January 1, 2016 will hold royal couple New Year's reception and -taffel of government and special guests in Christian VII's Palace, Amalienborg.

Tuesday, January 5 held first New Year's reception for Supreme Court judges, The Royal Guard and the regiments officer corps in Christian VII's Palace. The royal couple will hold subsequent New Year's reception for the diplomatic corps at Christiansborg Palace.

Wednesday, January 6 holds royal couple New Year's reception for officers from Defence and Emergency Management Agency, I., II. and III. Rank Class and invited representatives of major national organizations and the royal patronage at Christiansborg Palace.

Ekstra Bladet has a stream as well and they are on the King Henrik bandwagon, so to speak. Very funny, imo.
 
Of course they are ;), it's the headline of the day. DR is also going on about it. I can't understand much, but I do hear the words for prince consort and pension a lot, especially in the interviews.

Princess Marie wears white (or very light pink?) and of course he wedding tiara. Erm, what uniform is Joachim wearing? It's not his usual blue one, but looks like a navy uniform like Frederik?

edit: Mary in midnight blue velvet with the ruby tiara. No necklace,

edit: The Queen with the pearl poire parure, her grey-bue gown and the her husband by her side.

Notice Joachim and Frederik's hats.
It's different from past years, since Frederik is now rear admiral and Joachim full colonel.
 
Mary appears to be a new blue or black gown. Gorgeous!

The Queen in the pearl tiara and the pearl demi parure from the Crown jewels. And the light blue gown worn first at the dutch State Visit.
 
Everybody looks nice, but CP Mary is my favourite today! That gown is to die for and the hair is absolutely lovely.
 
Looks like Mary reworked her gown from the Bambi Awards. And maybe the top is her velour cape? Or perhaps just new. Either way, simply gorgeous. And a pretty new gown for Marie. She seems to really like the peplum type gowns.

I'm glad it all took place in Copenhagen, here in Roskilde it's so foggy that you can't see one meter in front of you...

Both Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik looked to be in good spirits despite it was the first time Henrik met the public after the news that he retires.

And great to see the Crown Prince couple back after their Australia trip. I want to mention something other than the dresses that made impression tonight. I smiled warmly at the sight of Frederik and Mary arriving - they don't walk the 'only' four meters from the car to the main staircase without taking each other's hands and cuddle them and the whole time looking, smiling and be aware of each other - despite so many people and fuss around them. Then the dresses come in second for me - for that is the most important! :)

We shall also enjoy the sight of prince Henrik tonight because who know when we see him again...

Joachim wearing his staff-officer's uniform (as in a commanding officer with a staff. A full colonel being such a creature).

Mary's dress is fabulous, and she looks so happy and relaxed. On another blog, there was a discussion about gala dresses. Apparently, when they are made, extra fabric is ordered, and the dress is made in such a way that it can be reworked. In this case, I think it is the skirt from the Bambi awards dress, which was two-piece. But notice the detail on the sleeves - it matches the skirt, so there had to be extra fabric involved. In any case, this is one of the most beautiful dresses she has ever worn, and I hope we see it again. Frederik looks good, too.:flowers:
