Not sure if the mods will keep this post here, but here is the first picture of the weekly changing of the guards at Gråsten, now with the whole family.
A couple of chairs had been put out for the Regent Couple. I guess they are tired after the visit to Greenland: Vagtskifte for fuld musik på Gråsten Slot | billedbladet.dk

The weather forecasts says very heavy rain tomorrow!
According to the latest chart (updated every 6 hours) Vejrkort: DMI
The rain will stop at noon for an hour or two.
Have they ever done an indoor shoot at Gråsten?
And if it's very bad they may postpone the shoot for an hour or two?

Maybe they should just cancel the photo shoot
There are already huge amounts of photos from today and a week ago.

I would think that there is always a plan B set up just in case. Is there a large hall/room at the palace that could accommodate everyone (royals/photographers?)

We haven't seen Athena and bette Henrik this summer.
Not to mention our Marie and her Joachim.
Wonder if Felix and Nikolai will be in Turkey with their mother?

I have to wonder if relocating, decorating, etc...has taken up their time as they've settled in to a new home. Muhler-When does the new school year begin in DK?

Today - in exactly two hours - the annual large photo session on Gåsten will take place.
But as Muhler already has written we have really bad weather today. And South Jutland, where Gråsten are located, are the worst hit. Heavy rain. In fact, the Danish weather station has send out a warning about 'dangerous weather conditions'.
Although the rain miraculously should take a break when the family comes out, the garden will still be soaking wet.
So maybe they cancel?
I think we most likely will see them walking out a few minutes on the castle stairs - like yesterday - perhaps under umbrellas.
But we'll see.

I've had a look at the weather radar. Here 1½ hours before the photoshoot there is light rain over Gråsten.
It should stop raining for about three hours shortly before 11.00. But the wind will be a problem. If the wind doesn't calm down standing there with umbrellas will be a problem. So rain = no (outdoor) photoshoot, even if they erect a shelter.
Well, looking at things from a positive side, we don't have to water the garden this year!

There is possibility to cancell? Is shame anyway.
And me i must say little disappointed they are not there Joachim ,marie and the kids.
I agree with you. I think Queen look very frail but maybe is tired from the trip to grenland. At least i hope.

Maybe they could do a "Singing in the rain" type of photo session.
With wellies and raincoats and all that.
How windy is it expected to be?

All the photos showing a relaxed and happy family and Queen Margrethe looks so happy and healthy. I have to admit I was a little concerned when I saw her at Prince Carl Philip's wedding, she looked so fragile and in pain. These photos are a welcome relief to see he looking so good.
The changing of the guard was lovely and I laughed at the dachshund trying to decide whether to march along behind.
