Annual Photo Shoots & Holidays At Gråsten Slot: 2003, 2005-2023

Thank you Muhler for posting those wonderful pictures of the twins from the photoshoot. I have spent the most productive hour of the day looking at the pictures of the twins from the photo shoot and Legoland and could easily spend the whole day looking at pictures of them!
Love the one of Josephine trying to go down the stairs but won't let go of the doll!
Was surprised that American Indians, Native Americans, are so popular in Denmark! Looks like they did very well on the rides.
Does Josephine have blue eyes like the rest of them? Vincent surely does.

Finally there are some more - and as expected extremely cute :)

It sure is some really cute and lovely pictures, how adorable looks the children as little Indians. And Mary too - I saw she acted like an Indian as well :D Looks like everyone had a lovely and fun day. Vincent and Josephine are some incredibly cute toddlers. I love that age.

And I'm a woman, so of course I think this picture of F+M watching their children is sweet too

You are welcome Polyesco & Frelinghigness. :)

Who can resist this picture of Sweet Moonbeam wooping: https://app.box.com/s/ku9s7114jwro5lrgz0ju (*)

And here we have Little Dove and Brave Bear: https://app.box.com/s/cq8eeio9jh4bhmp56um9

(*) Moonbeam was one of the (hot looking) main characters in a popular magazine in the 70's about, you guessed it, Indians called Silver Arrow. Perhaps some German members remember it? http://lighttpd.aller.dk/files/pics/familiejournal.dk/488/7607/89114_S%C3%B8lvpil-enkelt.jpg

The cartoonist Hans Kresse also published a number of very good comics about Indians which are worth reading even today. Perhaps known by Dutch and German members as well? http://assets.catawiki.nl/assets/1/b/6/e/b6e49450-2e68-012b-b741-001b63919eb3.jpg
So yes, "indianere" have a very good press, certainly in this part of Europe.

ADDED. A pic of Moonbeam, which may explain why the magazine was so popular among boys... and girls, because she could kick a..! http://oslo5.files.wordpress.com/2010/04/maane12.jpg

Not only the German members....
I loved "Silverpilen" Silver Arrow.

Prince Henrik drove over his beloved dachshund Querida with his golf cart during the holiday in Gråsten Palace. Six-month-old Querida was immediately admitted to a local animal hospital, poor dog has fracture of the pelvis.

I'd love to see Frederik's and Joachim's children together more often, as well as Nathalie's and Alexandra's. I feel that their children don't spend enough time together, according by pictures. Of course, that's just my opinion, I may be wrong.

It's difficult though, as both Frederik and Joachim both have described. While Frederik, Mary and the kids are located in Copenhagen (and after the renovation of Kancellihuset, in Fredensborg), Joachim, Marie, Henrik and Athena are mainly based in Møgeltønder, which is the other end of the country, and while they do have an apartment on Amalienborg, their base, understandably, is on Schackenborg. I presume that Nikolai and Felix primarily are based on Østerbro with Alexandra and Martin because they attend school in Copenhagen, and while I don't think that they see Christian and Isabella weekly, they do seem to have a good relationship to each other. It's even harder with Alexandra and Nathalie's children because they both live in Germany (Nathalie has lived there all along, and Alexandra is in the process of moving from France to Germany - if the move hasn't happened already).

I'd love to see a christmas where everyone are gathered - all three sisters and their families. It would be a logistic nightmare, but so lovely and Queen Ingrid would have absolutely loved it.

Just like in 2006 and 1999. That would be lovely :wub::wub:

The guardsmen are here wearing the warm-weather headgear.

When the temperature is above a certain number they put on hats instead of the very warm bearskin caps. The reason being very practical: A guard who is sweltering, with sweat pouring down into the eyes is not a very vigilant guard.

Prince Henrik looks like he was enjoying every bit of it watching from the side.
It's great to see the sisters.

Is HM wearing a semaphore neckace? Her necklace appears to have little flags on it.

Great to see all the family together for the summer holiday at Gråsten!

I see Bella is this year's Miss Sunshine in her yellow dress ;)

While I think it's nice with new set-ups each year, I think this year was rather quiet. I think it's so lovely with pictures as last year with a mega-watt laughing Josephine on the swing or Frederik who were playing hide and seek with Vincent. It gives a little more funny pictures. A little more action... But yeah, every year is different.

And I can't resist the twins  Josephine always reminds me of a real little princess in her fine dress while she make sure to lift up her skirt before walking.

A 25 pic gallery from Jyske Vestkysten: jv.dk

It's 29 degrees C today and almost no wind, so no wonder Mary did a Diana in her flower-power dress.

Notice how Vincent is clutching a car, I guess it runs in the family.

Now we can look forward to the LEGO trip. Josephine and Vincent should be old enough to fully enjoy the trip, so I think we in a couple of days time can look forward to loads of pics with the kids - being active!
