Wonderful to see such a big part of the Royal Family gathered for the gift presentation! Especially nice to see Princess Benedikte and her children appearing together with the rest of the buch.
One of the wedding gifts that were presented on Wednesday was a tennis pavillion from the Sønderjylland region. It's made in dark steel and glass, and costed about 450 000 Danish Crowns. The pavillion is designed by architect Poul Fræhr Hansen, and both the Queen and Crown Princely Couple have taken part in deciding colour and details of it.

Thanks so much for the info GrandDuchess ... a tennis pavillion is a pretty nice gift. Do all members of the family play tennis?
... and the presents just keep coming ... aren't they a lucky couple! Won't their baby have fun playing with the miniature palace when he/she is older?

What is she wearing on her top? Is that a belt or does her belly hang out (I hope that's not it, it's just too Britney Spears to think about).

No, it's part of the top; it has 2 layers. I really like the coat. But the sleeves are a little too long!
I love her look in the Grasten pictures: great hair, makeup, jewellery, dress, coat, shoes. I really love the dress and the coat ! Not sure if I love them together, but still great outfit altogether.
And, one more time, lovely necklace and earrings!

Queen Margrethe and Princess Benedikte looked very fresh in their outfits. QM rarely wears that pale pink/lilac color, and Princess Benedikte's jacket is really pretty.

Yesterday, Friday 5 August 2005, Queen Margrethe and Princess Benedikte watched the changing of the guards at Graasten Palace together with Princess Alexandra, Count Jefferson and their children. Pictures from Polfoto.

Thanks for the pictures GrandDuchess! :)
I cannot believe how big little Ingrid Alexandra is! I cannot believe that she is toddling around on her own two feet! The last time I remember seeing pictures of her was Beneditke's 60th birthday celebrations and she was still a small little thing in her mother's arms.
Benedikte looks very elegant. She has been dressing very nicely lately up in Graasten.
... I wonder if anyone who knows the curly haired blond boy is with Richard on the steps? A cousin of the Berelberg family?

Does anyone know who the curly haired boy is in these pictures? The young boy and girl are Princess Alexandra zu-Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg's children, Richard and Ingrid.

Would be nice if Princess Alexandra and the boys were there....kind of left out. Where are the lady's husband....Benedikte and Margrethe?

Well, maybe not left out. Maybe they had something else to do or Alexandra may have wanted to spend some time along with her sons.
