2nd -> Has anybody any idea where in Laken they live exactly?

1- I haven't seen any new pictures of Maria Laura in a while. I don't remember if she was at National Day this year or not. (Check National Day 2005 thread, sorry I can't remember) or just search through the forums/photo agencys for new photos.
2- Astrid, Lorenz, and their family live in Schonenberg. (I'm guessing Amedeo doesn't because he just started at London School of Economics.)

They live several years in villa Schonenberg on the territory of Stuyvenbergh. The renovation of the 'farm-castle' costed ev. 500 000 €. Some time ago there was a gossip that they wanted to move to a territory in Kraainem ...

Prinses Maria Laura betrokken bij verkeersongeval
Op de Ring rond Brussel is vanmiddag rond 16.00 uur tussen het Leonard- en Vierarmenkruispunt een ongeval gebeurd waarbij drie lichtgewonden zijn gevallen. Volgens VTM was prinses Maria Laura, de dochter van prinses Astrid en prins Lorenz, betrokken bij het ongeval. Ze zou niet gewond zijn geraakt.
De 17-jarige Maria Laura zat in een schoolbus onderweg naar huis toen de bus werd aangereden.
Het Paleis heeft het nieuws bevestigd. De 17-jarige dochter van prinses Astrid en prins Lorenz raakte niet gewond. Ze is door medewerkers van het Paleis naar huis gebracht en werd daarna voor observatie overgebracht naar het ziekenhuis.
De prinses was onderweg van Waterloo St-John’s International School naar huis toen de schoolbus betrokken raakte in een ongeval met drie voertuigen. De bus ging over de kop. De zeven kinderen konden de bus, die later vuur vatte, op tijd verlaten en zijn ongedeerd.
Het ongeval gebeurde ter hoogte van Tervuren richting Zaventem. Het verkeer moet er over een rijstrook en verloopt er stapvoets. Volgens wegeninfo, die momenteel ter plaatse is, waren er twee wagens en een minibusje bij betrokken. Een voertuig zou gekanteld zijn, maar de precieze omstandigheden zijn nog onduidelijk. PRINCESS MARIA LAURA CAUGHT IN CAR ACCIDENT
On the ring around Brussels between the Leonard and the Vierarmen-crossing, an accident took place around 4 pm where 3 young people got slighty injured. According to VTM princess Maria Laura, the daughter of princess Astrid and prince Lorenz, was one of them. Apparently she wasn't injured.
17 year old Maria Laura was on the schoolbus on her way home when the bus was run into.
Court has confimred the news. The 17 year old daughter of princess Astrid and prince Lorenz didn't get hurt. One of the palace's collaborators took her home and afterwards she was brought to hospital for observation.
The princess was on her way home from the St Jon's International School when the shoolbus got in a collision with 3 other vehicles. The bus overturned. The 7 children in time managed to get safely out of the bus before it caught fire.
The accident happened in the neighbourhood of Tervuren, in the direction of Zaventem. At the moment traffic has to use one lane and cars can only drive slowly. According to traffic info, who's there at the moment, two cars and a minivan were also in the accident. Apparently a vehicle toppled, but the precise circumstances are still unclear. Shortly after the accident the road was completely closed.

You can see the bus is completely burned out, the children have been lucky! Thank god they all got out in time. A bystander tells Maria Laura was shocked and emotional, like the others, obviously.
You can also see images of princess Astrid visiting 2 exhibitions today, at about the end of the 2nd, news of the accident came and she rushed off home immediately. Laura was examined by a doctor at home. Apparetly she's fine, but for further examinations she's been brought to hospital anyway.
After this news, there's also a small portrait of Laura, who is a very unknown royal figure in Belgium. Astrid & Lorenz keep their kids out of the limelight so they can lead a normal life.
Laura goes to an international school in the surroundings of Brussels, a school where a lot of children of diplomats and international businessmen go (must be excellent for international contacts later on!), she's been going there for the past 3 years, before that she went to the St Jan Berchmanscollege in Brussels, where prince Joachim & princess Luisa Maria are now - as well as princess Elisabeth.

Catherine, thank you for the precise instructions on how to see the video. After seeing the overturned van, I am amazed and grateful none of the students was seriously hurt. Has there been any follow-up news on how all the students are doing? Was anyone hospitalized for more serious injuries or have all been released from hospital?

What I understood is that nobody's in hspital, all the children are fine, the busdriver had some bruises but is basically all right as well. They were so lucky. It must have been a great shock, suddenly standing on the motoway, in the chaos of the accident with other cars, with all that traffic, and the bus completely burnt out...but as they say in French it was 'plus de peur que de mal' (more fear than hurt - or something like that).
