Thanks for the photos. I really love what Princess Astrid has done with her hair. She just looks fabulous! I know I've said this to death already, but she just looks better every time I see her. Not that she didn't look nice before, but age just seems to suit her much more than youth.

what do belgians think of Lorenz? what it his personality? does he have a good job? How is viewed?

i don't know what event this pic was taken at but the source for the photo is...

Where oh where did you find that one? ;)
It's taken at the gala dinner the evening before Constantijn and Laurentien's wedding at the 18th of may 2001.

She has a charmingly mischievous smile - how old is she?

Thanks elmabruin ... she could definately pass for a woman in her late thirties :)

Congratulations to the Princess (& Archduchess), who is one of the most likable royals around IMO. And I must add that she seems to one of these women who get better looking once they get older, like Princess Margriet of The Netherlands for example.

Happy Birthday to Princess Astrid!!!!!!!

A few weeks ago princess Astrid was present at the charity gala night of Aider Autrui, at the castle of Ramezée in Belgium. Aider Autrui was founded by archduchess Marie Gabrielle of Austria (wife of archduke Rodolphe) and tries to help the poor in Eastern Europe and Belgium.

Thank you for the great pictures, Catherine. I especially love the first one -- she looks so professional yet in that smile you can see (esp as the mother of five) that not much gets by her! Cute photo.

Princess Astrid opened the exhibition “50/50, North-South” in Brussels today. The exhibition includes a retrospective of the past 50 years of Belgian development cooperation but also deals with the future prospects of this important field of action. (Source: BELGA PHOTO/ BENOIT DOPPAGNE)

Thank you all for the beautiful pictures. Princess Astrid is one of my favourite princesses. She must be a wonderfull woman and to me it seems that she gets younger with the years instead of older.

Princess Astrid is President of the Belgian Red Cross. She attended a meeting on the event "Red Cross Red Crescent - Making a difference in Africa" on 11 September 2006 in Brussels. (Imagine)

Prince Lorenz will preside over the congress "Tesouros da Igreja, Tesouros da Europa" (the first international congress promoted by Europae Thesauri), which is going to take place in Beja (Portugal), next November 22nd-25th.

For those who don't know this organization, Europæ Thesauri is a non-governamental international association of the treasures and museums of the Catholic Church and it was established in 2005, under the Presidency of Prince Lorenz.

Me too for her hair!

I don't know very well the Arhiduchess of Habsbourg Este, she looks absolutly fantastic for a woman who has five children whom some of them are quit adults.

For her we can aapply the proverb :" good blood couldn't to lie"
