The royal court officially announced it. The baby is to be born in September. The due date is September 2. This is good news.

I kind of have the same feeling that it will be another girl, but who knows! and I agree that Mathilde and Philippe seem like lovely people.

Mathilde wore this skirt on her and Phillippe's trip to the U.S. earlier this year. It reminds me of a cow, though. As lovely as Mathilde is (and absolutely glowing in these pictures) even she cannot pull off a cow print.

Who is the man to the right in the 2nd to last photo. It looks as if Phillipe is telling him to keep his hands off his wife

The man you're referring to is King Juan Carlos of Spain. The picture was taken during Spain's state visit two (?) years ago.

And if Phillippe was trying to keep Mathilde away from the King, he probably had good reason! The King is a well-known ladies man. If you believe the gossip, he had an affair with Princess Diana of Wales and several other ladies.

Check out Mathilde's growing belly! And I love her bottoms - but not sure if it is a skirt or wide-legged pants. Very colourful at any rate!

Mathilde has got to be one of the most stylish moms-to-be I have ever seen. I'm sure she will get a big bouquet of flowers from Phillippe and Mathilde for Mother's Day this Sunday. :flower: (Is Mother's Day celebrated in Belgium? Or is that just a North American tradtion?)

This colour of pink looks great on Mathilde, doesn't it? Maybe it's her rosy cheeks or the glow from being pregnant, but the pink of her shirt sure brings out the rosy tones in Mathilde's skin. Everybody should look as radiant as Mathilde does.

And is it just me or does Mathilde's hair seem shorter these days? Maybe it's because she's wearing it down now instead of back and up like usual?
