Thanks for sharing the photos and account of meeting Crown Princess Mathilde!:flowers::flowers:
As usually Crown Princess Mathilde was very keen on paying a special attention to children, who came to meet her. It must have been truly exciting to meet her in person and enjoy a little chat with her. I wish I had a lucky opportunity to do so.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience, it was a delight to read and view the pictures!:flowers:

Will the coin be available to the General Public for purchase or does it go into circulation?

They did a pretty good job on the design. He looks better in person of course. ;)

Sad , no highlight such as also for the 50 years wedding of the King and the Queen.
The very last glittering event at the belgian Court was the pre-wedding ball of Baudouin and Fabiola..

Well, for me it's been a highlight that they brought the kids with them :)

Here are some more pics:

Very nice that Filip and Mathilde came with their four children! Eleonore had gone so a lovely litle girl, not a baby anymore! And the eight-year-old Elisabeth and her brothers are also very cute kids, what a nice pictures of the birthday prince and his family!

will philippe have a state dinner or something to celebrate his birthday, like queen margrethe, there's nothing official or anything?
