She's looking great, I agree...I also think she's more advanced in her pregnancy than we are led to believe.

More photos from Ciney

They visited the company 'Ronceaux' that emplois a lot of people in the region. After that they went to the horticultural and agricultural school, greeted the crowd at the market square, went to the town hall for an official reception and had lunch at a local toprestaurant.

Especially for the pupils of the agricultural school this visit meant a lot, even though their school has a great reputation and they're hard workers, other (normal grammar)schools often look down on them.

Princess Elisabeth was anounced for October, but born is September and prince Gabriel was anounced for September, but born in August. So it could well be the new baby will be born in September in stead of October. They don't fool us anymore ;):)

A while ago I posted on another thread that in the mid-1980's - in connection with an article on royal pregnancies - I read that "all royal babies are born a month early" and since that time I have noticed that, that is more often the rule than the exception. So I suspect, as someone wrote on the Willem-Maxima thread recently, that they announce the due date for a month later to accomdate babies born after their due date, and to keep the press frenzy to as much of a minimum as is possible.

Wasn`t Princess Elizabeth born prematurly, or was the C-section because of the umbelican cord (sp??) was around her neck, I do seem to reacall some minor drama but I could be very wrong?

Princess Mathilde looks elegant as usual. When you know that she was pregnant and you look at the pictures form India again, especialy from tha gala night she could be further along than they tell us...

And no way Is Maxima going to make it to July, I would be suprised if she makes it many days into June...

but its would be SO true!

Crown Princess Maxima would more carefully carry pregnant but she never dues early baby born like Britain Sophie,Countess of Wessex who gives birth baby girls at prematures her daughter born in November.

Crown Princess Mathilde carry pregnant but she never dues any month and any days whens she expects her daughter Princess Elisabeth and Prince Gabriel but she given birth her son on August but its her choice what she wanted it! she had c-section with her daughter and she never had c-section with her son when he was born.

Crown Princess Maxima never had c-section before! but she carry her daughter but i would knew she would given birth her baby this summer she told statement at palace but she would dues in July not June!

Elisabeth was born early, and there was some drama, as well. I don't think you can look at the Dutch royals for an example because the RVD always gives out the maximum gestation to ensure that the child is born by the date they give.

In the UK, the only early babies were Eugenie (possibly) and Louise. Lady Helen's kids are born early to prevent stillbirth, but neither she, nor her kids, are royal.

In Denmark, they seem to be born on time. Same thing in Norway.

The princess Eugenie of York, presented the only complication by being in a breech position. She was delivered by caesarean section. No born early.

Catherine, Thank you so much for these beautiful pictures of Mathilde. I especially have always loved the outfit she had on in NY when she was attending the same event as Maxima and Nan Annan. Do you have any photos of Mathilde in that white top with black skirt that don't have a watermark that you can post? ... or even just a closer up photo of her blouse without the watermark? Thanks for any help.

I think you can see the blouse quite well in these photos. It's from the Belgian brand Natan. I think she wore black trousers with it, not a skirt.
