Melina, you are absolutely right. Maybe now all those unnecessary and uncalled for comments will end once and for all.

My criticism of Charlène is about her lack of visibility and her inability to make much progress with French. And another thing we're apparently not supposed to mention...

We all have our viewpoints about why she approaches her role the way she does. I don't doubt that she has Albert's support.

I do not call into question her empathy or warmth or concern for people less fortunate than her or that she is a loving and dedicated mother. I welcome her appearances - I just wish there were a few more (or that they were spread out more evenly) - but I understand she doesn't run her schedule to suit my groupie fandom.

I know a couple of people who have met her (not just hello but spent some time talking with her) - they said she is warm, kind and thoughtful and much more relaxed in smaller group situations. The "celebrity" part of the job seems to be quite hard for her - understandable.

Also, you may feel the criticism is uncalled for but it's not just a few people. Contrary to what some posters here say, there is criticism from some quarters in Monaco (people there have said so to me) - they would like to see their Princess accompanying Albert a bit more at public events.

I am looking forward to seeing Charlene at the fashion events and taking part in the Waterbike race over the next few weeks and fingers crossed that we get to see the twins soon.

I have relatives who are living in monaco ,my sister and daughter , they live with their husband in Monaco , their children went to school and to college in Monaco , I passed my holidays by the home of my daughter and I meet a lot of Persons who live in monaco some persons are living in fontvieille , in Condamine ( popular quartiers , I am perhaps the only person here who knows very well Monaco, I am born in Nice and I have monegash friends that I have known from the time where I played baskets with them and I am seeing every time, I go to Monaco, and all are saying that they love their princess , she is doing a good job and the job she is doing for the children, the handicaped persons are very excellent . and they added ' we are used to hear the critics about our princely family and specially about our prince sovereign and our princess ( they are calling Charlene ' our princess')
They are very happy to have a princess like Charlene , she is humble, warm with them and the children , the handicaped and old persons are found of her.

Also what some persons are thinking about Charlene is nothing near what the monegash people is thinking about Charlene

Charlene was present to the Grand Prix , she visited the handicaped persons on the Grand Prix with Albert, the staff of the Red Cross who help during this big event and we saw that she has a big heart during the visit to the maternity , she thought to the victims at Manchester .

But she will be always criticed by some persons on this RF what ever she will do, it is the life Togram!

As nuanced as ever.

" I am perhaps the only person here who knows very well Monaco" - this is my favourite quotation.

I have always said that the Princess is at her best with infants and children....she seems completely natural and relaxed.

She is growing out her hair. I approve!

Not at the Gala at the Oceanographic Museum tonight? Haven't seen any photos yet apart from a couple with Naomi Campbell who I believe is being honoured. I think Tatiana and her business partner are also being given some kind of award.

I believe the Princess sprained it a few weeks ago and was unable to participate at the Riviera Water Bike Challenge a few weeks back.

A perfect event for P Charlene. I hope she recovers from that injury in time to take part in the SUP race at the end of June. She doesn't seem to have cast on her wrist, only a brace, so maybe the injury is not too severe.

Article and nice pictures :

She really looks in terrific shape-fit and slim.

The french doctors no longer flatten but put splints on the injuried members

I doubt Charlene will take part to the Sup race at the end of the month. She will need of her two arms in this sport.

P Charlene seems so much more confident doing interviews nowadays than she did in her early days as Princess.
