I somehow missed Alexandra's interview when I posted yesterday, though I watched it earlier today and would like to share my thoughts.
As others have noticed, Alexandra appears to have a warm and friendly personality. She also appears to be very confident and not too camera shy. The interviewer was irritating and cheesy though! I didn't think Alexandra had a strong American accent in the interview, though I am not American so I guess I can't 100% tell. I thought she had more of European accent (if that even makes sense); however there was a little of an American sound to her voice.
As for her actual performance, I thought she came across as a little clunky and unsure in a few parts (I don't mean to sound harsh) but as I said in my previous post, as long as she enjoys what she is doing, I guess that's all that matters. I thought she did her best during "I Could Have Danced All Night"… it appears that she favours faster routines.

I just got back 2 weeks ago and i have my double axle and triple salchow back and working on the other triples, also had a growth spurt, but it doesnt affect my singles, doubles or spins in anyway. Yes, every body is different but i can assure you no one who has triples and gets a growth spurt will go to an international competition with single jumps. especially if she had this "growth spurt" 2 years ago as you mentioned, it should be fine by now. Also there were a lot of competitors that it was there first time, I know for example Anna Grace Davidson from U.S.A. it was her first time, she also comes from an injury and only skated 3 weeks before competing and she did triples. I do agree that Alexandra enjoyed it and was certainly graceful, but in America she would be in preliminary level. So to get in Junior you have to pass pre-juvenile, juvenile, intermediate, novice, JUNIOR, and then senior. I understand Monaco might not have other skaters with higherlevel, that is the reason that she gets to go. But with the way she skates i see it difficult that she trains 4-5 hours a day, 6 days a week.
Hopefully you will see me at the next JGP next year :)
Sincerely
Figure Skater

And another thanks and good luck from me. I'm not that knowledgeable about figure skating so this was an interesting read.

Thank you for the best wishes! For the ones who don't know about skating. The life of skater is very hard! you have to skate 6 days a week and between off ice , ballet, and on ice work we train around 6 hours a day plus we have to do school. We wake up at 5 am and try to go at 9 pm to bed. This year I went to visit my grandmother for 3 weeks it was her 80s birthday and I could not skate, no ice rink there, when I came back I went to full speed training and got injured, too much too soon! and it was one after other, The 3 weeks of visiting my grandmother cost me the year of competition. My coach will not allow me to compete without all my jumps, mean all my triples! And on top of that you might have all , and in that second you get nerves and miss jumps and all your hard work goes in that 3 minutes! So she is a Princess with other obligations beside skating , the good part for her , is that her mother can afford the big expense that it is skating, my parents do a lot of sacrifice for me to skate.

As a former performer for me She is a princess and a Princess doesn't have to do doubles or triples, plus she is the first beautiful princess that had ever done a skating competition.
So for me she can do no wrong, she is the highlight of the competition!

I love watching ice skaters! I remember many beautiful, intricate Olympic performances. Remember Torvill and Dean?
So, Princess Alexandra is not at that level, yet. But, I loved watching her especially floating so gracefully with the beautiful soprano voice of Julie Andrews singing: "I Could Have Danced All Night". (That song always makes one want to dance.) I was quite impressed with her sweetness and her flow.

I take it that you are the skater in the video? That was excellent!
Figure skating seems like a very elegant and graceful sport.

I've been a hardcore figure skating fan since watching Dorothy Hamill win the Olympic Gold Medal in 1976 (even wore her famous hairstyle in elementary school, lol), so I was overjoyed with love & delight when my favorite royal, Princess Caroline, daughter started figure skating!
Yep, she may have finished in last place, but her charm & personality were infectious. And I am so very thankful & grateful for Princess Alexandra putting such a huge spotlight on this sport I love.

 I agree Nadine.
Princess Alexandra seems absolutely charming and adorable and unaffected. Not what I expected at all!

But I do not understand why not have relationship with his daughter; That and became the Carolina regards these two. I imagine that it hurts all sides this .However is pleasing that it has relations with his half brothers.

A statement like that cannot be made. We don't have any information about the relationship between Princess Alexandra and her father Prince Ernst August.
There have never been any interviews or other kind of statements about the issue. The simple fact that we haven't seen any official or paparazzi pics of them together during the last years, cannot be seen as ultimate proof, it's a private matter, we don't know about.
