Melina, many thanks for sharing these videos. In the video, it can be clearly seen that Charlene's jacket had black sparkling studs. So she was not wearing a plain and drab black jacket as so many thought and were very quick to criticize and find fault with her. The twins are adorable and very well mannered. Caroline was elegant, but she needs to change her hairstyle, the ends are quite scraggy.

I am agreed with you, I saw the details of the jacket with these sparklings studs, very beautiful, back is no more color of funeral, Charlene was perfect in her role of princess consort and I am not surprised, and it is very nice to see that Prince Albert and princess Charlene are including their children in some events , Jacques and Gabriella are lovely and have a good behaviour

I also noticed the sparkling detail on P Charlene’s jacket and thought it lifted the all black quite nicely.
I feel for P Charlene: she is heavily criticised when she misses an event and equally criticised when she attends. I am happy to have seen her present at this official occasion. She was a gracious hostess, I for one think that she did well. And of course, the twins are super cute, spontaneous and loving.
Looking back, I am sire P Albert will regard it as a successful visit.

If I think what Princess Grace did in Monaco at onlly 27 years and after her death what did her daughter , Princess Caroline, Charlene, who Is 41 years old, looks a very modest woman and wife of a head of State.

I know Monaco is small but I think there would have been enough to do to fill a longer visit. The President would probably have been interested to have visited the famous casino, cathedral and some of the economic developments such as the land reclamation project. A performance at the opera house would also have been nice as would have been a formal state dinner.

Yes, it would be nice but The president did a state visite in Italia till Sunday Morning, he arrived from Roma Sunday Morning and the Sunday evening , they had to meet President Macron and his wife in a hotel in Nice for a privat dinner, there were not enough time to do these visites and I think Albert would be pleased to show to the couple the monuments of Monaco but It does not detract away the very importance of this visite
Prince Albert said , he invited President XI Jumping last summer and he was very happy that the president had enough time to do a state visite in Monaco, it was as an historic day ( as the monegash people and medias are saying), a head of state of one of the biggest took the time to meet the prince of one of the smallest country after the Vatican
As I said later, Monaco does not receive very often the heads of states and when the principauty is receiving for an official state, it does not last more one day, President De Gaulle did a state visite in 1960 which lasted one day, President Mitterrend did a visite of 2 days, the principauty did not receive a state visite of France since 1960 and this state visite took place in 1986, the other heads of state did an officiel visite which lasted some hours in a day for exemple President Chirac, president Sarkozy, President Hollande did officiel visites which lasted 5 hours

Mitterrand visited Monaco in january 1984 with a wonderful Princess Caroline as First Lady, just marrried with Stafano Casiraghi.

Princess Caroline is Princess Caroline. I mean She worked, is working and will work for her Country. No doubts about it. As you pointed out Princess Grace and Princess Caroline did a lot for Monaco when they were Monaco's First Lady. We cannot even compare both of them with Princess Charlene, who loves the title HSH but not the duties.

Agree with you. Caroline is one of the most beautiful and charismatic woman in the world and her work for Monaco is recognized by everyone.Prince Albert in 2005 assigned her the CULTURAL MERIT. Princess Charlene has low cultural preparation . If Albert is happy with this woman no problemi, but don't say she is a great First Lady because she wears a beautiful dress or because she can laugh one time.

For goodness sake please do stop criticizing Charlene. For some of you she can never get it right. Her greatest and by far the most important achievement is the way that she is bringing up the twins. They are very well mannered and in the way they behave you can see that their family atmosphere is one of love and happiness. This is something that I think that no one can deny.

I am agree with you Togram, Charlene as first lady was perfect during the last visite of the chinese president and the education of the children are also very good, they are very well mannered and it is nice that Albert and Charlene are including their children in duties
In royal families , children are let to the hands of the nurses, Charlene does not do it with the agreement of the prince Albert and we are seeing the result now, they are at ease during the public events and very happy to attend cérémonies or visits of head of states
I hope that Jacques will be prince sovereign the most later possible but he is preparing slowly to his future role
