That's a very public display of the father daughter relationship. Are there similar events from previous years?

Albert has had a hard time from some people for having had children before he was married but there are other royals who had kids with other women during their marriages and who have also ignored said children.It's always amazed me therefore as to why PA gets singled out for criticism in this way. His open relationship with Jazmin suggests that he would have no problem sharing time with Alexandre as well so it's possible that there may be some other factors going on here such as issues with his son's mother whom he has had very public disputes with over the years. In the media though he's painted as the villan of the piece which I think is unfair.

I think Albert is an honest and very sensitive man. He loves his daughter and wants her beside him. As I can see from Jasmin's public icon, she is a happy young girl and enjoys life. That means that her father (and mother of course) have done good work. It's obvious that Albert has a good relationship with her. My only remark is Charlene's absence. I think Charlene could be with him and Jasmin.

Personally, I think he could have been a bit more present in her life when she was a small child because he knew of her existence - I think he didn't want a confrontation with his father. However, he has since done the right thing and they obviously have a good relationship which I think is lovely. It's been great to see them together.

As to Alexandre, I suspect his mother does create some problems but it seems they live in London so that might explain one reason we see him less. Also, he's still a minor - when he is an adult we may then see him in public with Albert. Here's hoping...

Pure speculation of course, but I've long suspected that the one responsible for there not being a close relationship between father and son is because of the mother not because of the father.
Then again for all we know they could be very close but having the relationship kept private because of Alexander's age.
