It´s so good to see P. Caroline, once again taking part in a principality event... She's so absent from Monaco life these years. It's a pity though that neither the Casiraghi nor the Ducruet siblings don't involve themselves in these acts. After all Monaco's their legacy ( their emotional, cultural... roots ), they should take better care of it

Nijinsky awards
Does anyone know if the Nijinsky awards will be held this year? Since the last one was in Dec 2006, and they have held them every two years since 2000, I was hoping to see them this year.

You are right, it would be held this month in December 2008 but I didn't find the dates? Maybe this week end as from 19th to 21th Dec ?
Cross our fingers !

The short article only says that Charlene wasn't there
and that she neither was present at the Christmas tree
auction Albert attended a few days earlier ( you can
find pics of that in his current events thread). The rest
of the article says that Stephanie, Caroline and Albert
made a lot of children happy with lots of presents and
a nice and colourful pre-christmas party (inauguration
of the traditional Christmas tree)

Yeah I am also wondering about the Nijinsky Awards, they should be held some time these days. Anyone know anything about them?

What a great, charitable event - for both the senior citizens, and school children; nice thing the family does each year to stay connected to their subjects.

I think so too. It's great to see all three of them there this year. I bet everyone looks forward to it - I think it's a really nice event.

Nijinsky Awards
I tried to find out something about the Nijinsky Awards
and after all I think it won't take place this year, but
in December 2009. That would be unusual as so far
it has taken place in the form of a biennial, but if you
check the site monacodanceforum it says "Next edition
December 2009" and on another site I've found the - "not
yet confirmed" dates December 12-19, 2009.

Thanks Iceflower for the information, it's kind of unusual that they changed the dates. We'll have to wait till next year then

Albert and Stephanie to go to Germany this Febuary
Albert will be in Duesseldorf on Monday to attend a charity dinner to collect money for foundations to prevent climat change and environment damage.
Stephanie will be present at this years Berlinale, a film festival in Berlin.
She'll arrive Febuary 12th. She'll attend the TEDDY Awards as a guest of UN ambassador and new UNAIDS coordinator Michel Sidibe.
