Back in Monaco Prince Albert attended the New Year's event of the Sûreté Publique (Monaco Police) at the Oceanographic Museum today, January 22.
Jean Raymond Gottlieb was present as well.

Prince Albert on another solo visit while his consort is no where to be seen,this Indian trip would have made a nice joint visit.

I agree but I've reached the point where I don't remotely expect her to do official visits abroad with him unless it's somewhere in Africa or the USA. It's strange how she has no qualms about leaving her children then. I only follow their family now because I enjoy watching the children knowing that they are the future of the Grimaldis but it's going to be difficult to persuade them to do engagements they don't like in the years to come if they see Charlene ducking out of things.

I wonder why Princess Charlene is not as active a consort as her predecessors, leaving Prince Albert to stand alone outside the country. Inside is another matter.
