On August 9 renowned endurance swimmer and United Nation's Environment Programme's Patron of the Oceans, Lewis Pugh completed the first leg of his "7 Swims in the 7 Seas for 1 Reason" campaign to highlight the importance of marine protected reas. Lewis completed his swim from Larvotto Beach in Monaco and was welcomed by Prince Albert.

On August 12 Prince Albert attended the opening ceremony of the European Athletics Championships Zürich 2014 in Zürich, Switzerland.

Yesterday, August 16, Prince Albert attended the opening ceremony of the 2nd Summer Youth Olympics Games in China. Today, August 17, he met with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the Purple Palace in Nanjing.

He's still in China, attending the Summer Youth Olympic Games, but it wasn't announced for how long he will stay there.

Yesterday, August 28, Prince Albert attended the Champions League group stage draw 2014-15 in Monaco. Cristiano Ronaldo won UEFA's award as the best player in Europe last season (pic 1) and a cheque was handed out to the association The Child Protection in Sports Unit (pic 2).

Yesterday, September 2nd, Prince Albert opened the new sculptures garden in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin and unveiled a statue of Empress Eugénie.

Today, September 3rd, Prince Albert attended a parade as part of the commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Monaco in the second World War. On pic 2 he poses in his father Prince Rainier's jeep.

On September 4 Prince Albert attended a ceremony in which a day nursery in Monaco was renamed into "Crèche-Garderie Rosine Sanmori" honouring Rosine Sanmori. Rosine Sanmori was Vice-President of the Monaco Red Cross and now retires after 46 years of commitment for the Monaco Red Cross.

Prince Albert gave a speech during the Expo Milano 2015 Best Practices Meeting in Milan, Italy on September 16, 2014.

On September 15 Prince Albert as appointed President of the Commission of the IOC Sport and Environment had a work meeting with the commission in Lausanne, Switzerland, the headquarters of the International Olympic Committee.

Yesterday, September 18, Prince Albert visited educational workshops at the Saint-Charles school in Monaco. The visit was part of the launch of the Digital Development Plan that aims to offer new teaching practices and to strengthen the love of learning and to reduce inequalities and learning difficulties.

In the context of World Alzheimer's Day, celebrated on 21 September, a walk was organized by the Monegasque Association for Research on Alzheimer’s (AMPA) in Monaco yesterday, September 19. Prince Albert participated in it.
