PA and the Principality have responded to the flooding in Pakistan - they're sending 100,000 euro from their "Aide Humanitaire d'Urgence" budget; the money will be administered by the World Health Organisation (WHO).

not sure where to put this, whether here or in the PA/Charlene Current events since they are both expected to attend, but found it on a twitter search for "Prince Albert of Monaco"
Prince Charles to grace CWG inaugural - The Economic Times
Apparently he and Charlene (along with Prince Charles of Wales and Maldives President Mohamed Nasheed) are all scheduled to grace CWG inaugural

Thanks, Elly C! Only the pic of that article is from last year.
Prince Albert II of Monaco at the conference called 'The Value of the sport as
Development Tool', during the Millennium Development Goals Summit at United
Nations headquarters in New York, 20 September 2010.
The summit, which is being held in conjunction with the General Debate of the
65th session of the UN General Assembly later this week, is a way for world
leaders to review the ambitious anti-poverty targets adopted in 2000 and
accelerate the achievement of the goals that have been set.

Prince Albert is in Russia for two days! He attends the conference "Arctic -
Territory of Dialogue", the first major conference of the Russian Geographic
Society in Moscow on September 22 and 23. Members of the intergovernmental
Arctic Council - comprising Russia, the United States, Canada, Norway, Denmark,
Finland, Iceland and Sweden - as well as scores of scientists and international
polar experts gather to discuss the region's future.
During the event Prince Albert will be named an honorary member of the
Russian Geographical Society.
Here are some pics of day 1:

Association and Russian President's special envoy on cooperation in
the Arctic and the Antarctica at the conference at Moscow State

Funny connection you've made but the pic shows them during dinner
the evening before the other picture at the conference was taken. See my
previous post for that
Today, September 24, Prince Albert has been back in Monaco and visited the
International Monaco Yacht Show at Port Hercules. The thing he holds in his
hands is the scale model of the 'Planet Solar Turanor' yacht he is standing
on, the world largest ship working on solar power.
