Prince Albert II of Monaco at the 4th 'World Stars Ski event', a charity
ski cross race in Samnaun/Graubunden, Switzerland on January 31, 2009.
During a charity ski race, the stars will eagerly collect donations for the
foundation 'Star Team for Children'. In 1993, Prince Albert II of Monaco
founded the charity together with Mauro Serra. The aim of the charity
is to help ill and poor children all over the world and to ease their sorrows.

:) Finally, get to see the pics of Dusseldorf which turned out beautifully. PA is such a mah-velous athelete it's always nice to see those motion pics they turn out really well.
:shamrock: Let's hope this mah-velous charity raises all of the funds it needs to keep the forward march of their work moving full speed ahead!!! It appears the illustrious PA is a bit wind-burnt after surviving Antartica??

 look at those c-h-e-e-k-s He is most definitely someone whom has an affinity for the cold!!! They seem to find the location as facinating to see as we do.!!! it's always great to see pics of the location where they are at. it must be something about the "male" persona they seem to dislike wearing coats?? Hope those pics without jackets are indoors!!!:easterbunny:

First pics from tonight:

Prince Albert II of Monaco poses at the K21 museum prior his fund
raising dinner in Duesseldorf on February 2, 2009.

Thanks iceflower & anabell for posting pics of Albert.
I am really impressed like Albert takes every opportunity to participate in sports. He might be little over weight but he's in perfect shape, many younger and slimmer people don't have.

guys wearing gray suits are usually boring, but there are some funny pics posted by iceflower from Dusseldorf: #1 & #2. Albert and German minister looking at something and making funny faces, I know they didn't do this for purpose, but still it looked kind of funny.

I totally agree with you about those funny effects, Lakshmi :)
and it's indeed great that he still participates in that charity ski
cross race..

Here are some more pics from yesterday, Albert at the townhall of
Düsseldorf and the house of the federal state, signing the golden
books and enjoying a glas of champagne.

:flowers: Fab pics PA has great handwriting. That champagne looked divine ;)!! Looks like the day was filled with plenty of activities. It's concurred PA is extremely agile and athletic something he has never lost and that is indeed, to his credit. Let's hope the event produced what they were looking to accomplish!!!:easterbunny:

I would say Germany was a good choice for his environmental
charity, as environment themes are much discussed here and
there is a great willingness to get involved :)

And I've finally found some pics of the dinner itself:

I'm not sure when this was recorded, but: Prince Albert of Monaco
appears on 'Piers Morgan On Monte Carlo', the second in a three-part
documentary series looking at 3 of the world's most desirable locations,
shown on ITV1 England on January 05, 2009

You're guys great with keeping updates about P.Albert.
I wouldn't expect so gray, dark sky in Monaco (anabell's pics). But looking how dressed are Albert and his companions it must be warm there. it is nice too to see PA with other royals.:flowers:
Iceflower, where those pics were taken, in England?

Well, it's winter in Monaco as well, the last days it's been rainy with
around 5-6 °C ( I'm always a bit unsure about the degree Fahrenheit,
I'm sorry), so even in Monaco the sky isn't always blue ;) :)
In case you mean the last set of pics I had posted, those were taken
in Monaco, as it's been a report about Monaco. It was made for the
television in Great Britain and was shown there this week :)

:flowers: It is hard to imagine that Monaco could ever have a cold or grey and rainy day. the pics from belga were nice it had a nice natical look to it.

:igloo:One of the fav pics of PA is the one where he was in front of the sign for a boat race very nautical with a nautical type suit on. hmm don't know which race but it was within past few years. anyhooo it was nice. However, after surviving Antartica Monaco must seem like a heat wave. :easterbunny:

On Feb. 9, P. Albert received representatives of Jewish community. They mention here about Jewish community in Monaco. Wonder how many Jews are in Monaco. I remember reading a few years back that Albert discussed returning to rightful owners property or maybe bank accounts in MC, that once belonged to Jews and then they were taken by Nazis. I don’t remember details, hope I did not changed facts too much.

 whaat a mah-velous-ly silly photo!!! bhaaa haa hee it appears the Illustrious PA has a 'prankish and michevious fun" side to his persona. Probably keeps that group on it's toes, do you suppose. however, the photo with the water behind him is my fav; not because we're thirsty, but just because the colors look wonderful and it's a great spontaneous pic!!!:easterbunny:

It does work, Glistening Seas, I've checked it. Maybe the version of
your adobe reader or equivalent programme can't access that format..

Pic#1 from iceflower post #110 is my all favorite. I also like Albert "smile" in post 108.
PA is well known for very expressive face.;)

;) The third pic is my fav of the bunch although they all turned out superb. Is mr Keilly older than PA?? It's always been enjoyable to watch the ski events mr Keilly has been in. He's always been favorite of everyone it's certain. Pa looks great in the white parka ultra-cool, very nice indeed. PA must have been busy if he attended 2 events today!!:easterbunny:

Yes, Mr. Killy was born in 1943, so he's a bit older than Albert ;)

It's been a day full of sports for Albert, he also attended a
soccer match in Monaco later that day:

Prince Albert II of Monaco attends the French Ligue 1 soccer
match between AS Monaco and Olympic Marseille at Louis II
stadium in Monaco February 15, 2009.
