I could see Pierre and Bea doing it different ways, either in Monaco, or somewhere magical in Italy, like the Borromean islands, where Lavinia and John tied the knot....

That was exactly what I was thinking today!
Would they marry in Monaco, live there and have children there? Would their kids have to be born in the Hospital Princesse Grace?
And i'm not only wondering about Pierre, but Charlotte and Andrea too. Andrea...well, most likely he is to become the heir, so that would be understandable, but Pierre and Char?

I agree. Sometimes i think she's even better looking than Charlotte, although Charlotte is sooo sweet.

Well, i i'd to place a bet, i'd say that the Casiraghi's are very much like their mother. They can tour around the world, live in the most distant and strange places of the world, but they'll always end up returning to Monaco. Monaco is their home, their reference, their place in the world, just like for Caroline... So, with luck, in a few decades from now, we'll se the three siblings, married and with children, living in a stylish glamorous Monaco, with PIERRE AND BEATRICE ( that's right, that's my bet for Monaco future sovereign ) and Charlotte pouring charm all around under the sweet eye of a granny called P. Caroline!

Good question! What do italians think about her? They know her better than us (at least than me).
I was never such a huge fan of Bea as many people around here, but I recognize I don't know many things about her...that's why i would love to know italians' opinion...

I started liking Beatrice when i heard her speak in some interviews. She´s so brave and smart. You may agree with her or not, but she has something to say. I like especially the long interview by Era Glaciale. It´s in youtube.

I agree, I quite like how outspoken she is. Not only is it the sign of a healthy mind in my book but a healthy life - to be so outspoken you have to have passion and conviction, which she seems to have by the shedload. I don't think, to be honest, I would have picked her for Pierre but they work together perfectly. And they're so cute! I was just thinking, I'm sure Caroline enjoys having her around. Not only as a stable partner for her son but because of the ideas and opinions they'd have and share and debate. I don't know, it just strikes me that they'd be two people who would get along even if you took Pierre out of the equation. I'm not so sure about Tatiana, she seems more of an enigma. But perhaps that's the way she likes it. She does seem very outgoing though, very open. I'm sure they have a great relationship too. I hate to keep singling Alex out (I like him, honestly ) but he's the one that I would think has less of a relationship with Caroline. But maybe that's just my perspective.

^Yes, actually i don't remember having seen a pic of Alex and Caroline talking to each other. I do remember, for example, pics of their latest holidays in Zurs where Tatiana was spending more time with Caroline than with Andrea.
Beatrice is perfect for this family: intelligent, educated, beautiful, capable of bringing the old glamour that Monaco is lacking of lately. Only Caroline puts the glamour in the Principality. Not even Charlotte, with her beautiful - perfect face, is very glamourous. So Beatrice is perfect. Let's hope the best for them, beacause this is Pierre's first serious relationship. Of course, with a woman like Beatrice, he wouldn't be fooling around like he did with Alice, Olympia, etc...

Beatrice's face reminds me a bit of the young Paola Ruffo di Calabria (now Queen Paola of the Belgians)

I have to say, as much as I like them together, a good-looking couple does not always equate a healthy relationship. From what we see--and in my personal opinion--Beatrice & Pierre look quite happy. But who knows what's going on behind closed doors?
Moreover, there are plenty of pictures of Caroline talking & laughing with Alex. I'd say next to Tatiana by reason of being apart of the family so long, she has the best relationship with him. If anything, I haven't seen her interact much with Beatrice that much at all. Not trying to imply anything, I'm just saying.

^Oh, i didn't remember those pics. You are right.
About Beatrice and Caroline talking to each other...now that you mention it, i don't remember seeing pics of it. I'm sure it happens (i mean, Caroline has had to talked to her sometime) but there aren't pics.

Beyond the fact that they are a good looking couple, I think they are equally matched all the way around, but could be much like Liz Taylor/Richard Burton when they get into arguments. Passion and tempers. I do think they are good for each other. Pierre is used to having his way with women. Bea is no push over, and whether you agree or not with her opinions, she is very smart and unafraid. I like that in a young woman. I think they are a good match and wish them the best.

Okay, point well and truly dis-proven. I was just thinking I bet Caroline enjoys having someone like Beatrice around but I've never seen any pics of it either. And I only singled Alex out because I thought Alex's personality was so different from what that family seems to be. But perhaps that's a good thing. And Caroline seems to have that type of personality where I think she could get along well with almost anyone, or at least pretend to. Not that she would with her possible future daughters-and-son-in-law but you get my point. I hope. Anyway, it doesn't really matter what type of relationship Caroline has with them, as long as they make their partners happy.

Lol, no I get your point. I think. We usually see eye to eye. I just wanted to put out there that Alex and Caro are indeed cordial with one another. But the same principle I used for Bea & Pierre applies for Caroline and Alex. We're just looking at pics, who knows what's going on behind closed doors.
But yes, I agree Caroline doesn't strike me as someone who would be blatantly cruel or rude to her children's significant others. And I'm sure at the very least that she doesn't disapprove of Beatrice, as Pierre seems to me a bit of a Mama's boy (in the nicest possible way ) and I think he deeply values his mom's opinion.

I think Pierre's a bit of a mama's boy too. I think that's because he was the youngest when Stefano died so for most of his life he's grown up only really having Caroline to depend on. Perhaps Caroline subconsciously did it anyway - doted a little more on Pierre because he was the youngest? Even the best parents do it. But I do agree, he does seem very connected to his mom and value her opinion. It's quite cute actually. His lovable factor goes up every time I see him with Caroline.

Thecia........ I'm sorry in advance, but I think you are reading too much into the pictures. I cannot believe i'm saying that, because I always thought that I read too much into pictures!!!! Who knows? Maybe you do have a point, or something of a point, about Caro and Bea. I kind of doubt it, however. But who knows?
Anyway, on another subject...... I noticed that you were curious about the Elkann kiddos. Which one was which? Well, I don't know for sure, but I have a feeling the one in the red cap is the younger one. Was that Oceano? I already forgot the names and birth orders!!!!

I was just musing. I'm like that. I'll dream and drift off topic most of the time if you give me a chance. It had nothing to do with the pictures. I haven't even looked at all of them actually. It was more reading too much into what I know of Bea's personality. I just thought Caroline would enjoy having someone who's outspoken because of the mental exchange thing. But whatever, it was just a thought. I never meant to get so into it.
And yes, I do believe Oceano is the younger one. And Leone is the elder.

Well, I guess the average Italians don't care a bit about Beatrice.
However in a blog, I read the opinions posted by some people who had met her on a train from Rome to Milan. Well, they all said that the girl is beautiful, but extremely arrogant and full of herself, which is easily perceivable from the interviews she released, and those she made. she thinks she's a great reporter, but reading some article written by her, I had the feeling she didn't write them at all. Seems like the editor of the newspaper she's "working" for wrote them instead: same style, same words...
Perhaps if she fails to become a member of the Monaco family, she will enter politics. That's the feeling.
