Their grandfathers were business rivals and didn't get along at all...and Princess Grace reportedly really loathed Aristotle Onassis. So it is rather poignant to see their granddaughters being so friendly and relaxed together all these years later.

Athina bears a striking resemblance to her late mother, the tragic Christina.
Just as Charlotte is the spitting image of Princess Caroline.

It's true that they both favor their mothers, and yet isn't it nice that we don't have to describe Athina as tragic and Charlotte as rebellious?!! They've managed to become (at least from appearances) stable young women.

Well fortunately for Athina and Charlotte they have both had relatively 'normal' and well adjusted childhoods in comparison to their respective mothers.

I don't care for the outfit with the long dress with jacket and flats...I think it's unflattering. But she is so breathtakingly lovely that it really doesn't matter what she wears, IMO.

Who is the tall man always with her, is he a bodyguard? I hope he is merely there to keep the paparrazzi from coming too close, and that she has not received some type of kidnapping threat?

No wonder she often looks so wary out in public.

OK..... those pics rock. They are the perfect Exhibit for Why Charlotte Isn't Left Alone and Ignored by Everyone. It's called, Being Too Cool For Imagination. I'm so sorry, Charlotte. Life sucks when you're born beautiful and you seem to have inherited some kind of ethereal coolness that other people just can't touch with a ten foot pole. So can you really be surprised that we at TRF are totally captivated? I mean..... let's get real!

And another thing, Charlotte: This "new" bodyguard. I'm sure he's nice, but that other one is much better looking! The one who guarded your High-Coolness butt at the Gucci Masters last year, and then in Estoril this summer.

I haven't seen the older body guard (in the Stella McCartney video) since the car crash last summer. I hope he wasn't fired. Maybe he just retired. He has been with her since she moved to Melee sur Seine.

I just hope she doesn't have a bodyguard because some freak has threatened to harm or kidnap her....she hasn't always had one.

*sigh* Telegraph (shoddy as it is) is reporting Charlotte and Alex might get engaged soon. Based on this quote from Alice Dellal:

Charlotte looks madly in love with him. He looks fine with it, but sometimes i can see love sign from him to her thanks to paps. It seems like he is not very demostrative.
About getting married...i don't know, maybe they will, maybe they won't. They've been together for, 3 years? it's too soon...but again, Princess Caroline was madly in love with Junot when she married him and they didn't have a 3 year long relationship.
I think it's all speculation, as press always do.
