Gad has his own busy career and he doesn't have time to follow Charlotte wherever she goes, and the gossip press writes stupid articles because they don't see Charlotte and Gad together in some weeks.

I completely agree. If the rash of rumors had not broken out over the last 48 hours I am 100% sure that Gad would never have shown up to watch Charlotte ride-he rarely does-and the two of them would not have made a point of being cozy in front of the cameras in St. Tropez.

Despite their protestations to the contrary, famous people do indeed read the tabloids and they do care about gossip and what is written about them.
