I can't recall who was the one who placed La Scala in Rome, but, anyway why go to Rome to book the tickets, when Milan is at a stone's throw from Monaco?

Found this site with a brief note that Charlene is driving a new Audi TT.
Charlene Wittstock Drives New Audi TT | The Garage
There is also one photo and an apparent press release from Audi.

To be honest there is not much news coverage about any European Royals here.
We have the occasional article in the newspaper or magazine if she has attended a function here or when she attends high profile events with Prince Albert, like the Red Cross Ball but other than that nothing much.

I think she's got the right idea - line up with the man that can actually give some help (fancy long term vacations, trip to the royal family doctor, meetings with the rich important friends, endorsement and money, nice place to live, and so on).
Nothing wrong with any of that...

Hopefully the Audi ad is a lovely parting gift from the "Who will win Albert's heart?" game show (insert your own theme music here). She has already won some fabulous vacations.

good point so yes, it might be a nice goodbye gift/consolation prize
But one has to admit, the girl has public staying power, doesn't she? No matter what Albert or the media has said or has done CW manages to get through all of it somehow...
I guess she's been around for about a 1 1/2 yr now in MC public? She works hard to extend her stay & get as much out of it as possible that's for sure...
not that I blame her

Most likely his press team to make her look like she isn't a "kept women" and is there training hard with a sponsor.

I agree totally, but that's still a help to her anyway.
I think the Audi ad is nothing more than that, just an ad to get her some money because she's being with Albert. I think that's good for her and he should help her. It's not an endorsement or sponsorship from Audi because she's not on anyone's team anywhere, she has not been seriously competing at all and has not won any main swimming events. Charlene's most recent 'claim to fame' is being with Albert, which is fine. They attached the word 'olympic swimmer' to it, but she hasn't done any serious competition in a few years now and hasn't qualified for anything serious in the future imo, she's using on her connection with Albert (his crew probably helped her to get the deal, or at least approved that she do it somehow). As I said before, good for her, I'd do the same thing too.
ok so she placed in some little swim meet a few months ago maybe, but it did not seem to be a big deal at all. I think they're going to drag this training and swimming but "now she can't swim anymore because she hurt her shoulder and needs to be in physiotherapy" business for as long as people are willing to get excited about it. I think they're building a soft exit for all that olympic talk since she probably won't be competing - but who knows, maybe she will (I doubt it )
just my opinion.

Hi bbb,
While I agree with everyting you've said they are her trade mark as that is mostly all we have seen her in, so I can see why she posed in them - it's Charlene.

I can't believe that someone on the precipice of becoming the wife of the Sovereign Prince of Monaco would actually pose/participate in any sort of endorsement. I agree ... I think this may be one of her parting gifts in the "I once dated a Prince contest."
At least ... that's what I'm hoping. She is NOT Princess Grace material.

But then again, WHO is?
As for Charlene, I think she's not even high society wife material, let alone princess.

om, i just saw the diva1,2,3,4 pics and i must say she would do better with someone her own age( take it from someone who knows that age difference is very hard to deal with and no amount of money is worth it)
beside she looks very relax with her long time friend
i must add imo she is no grace the only thing she and grace have in common is that they are both white, blonde and blue eyed.
paca thx for info
