i guess it will be some private couple of days, besides mette marit has been in london not long ago. maybe they may try and link some activities with it? the norwegian royals seem pretty active in the UK. when is the christmas tree in trafalgar square traditionally turned on?

I don't think so. I guess they'll just go there to attend the birthdaycelebrations of the Prince of Wales.
Usually Royals don't have any official engagements when they travel to another country to attend royal celebrations.
Edit:
Haakon is going to attend the London Jazz Festival on Nov. 13th.

It's a shame she won't be able to attend the festivities. Sounds like her concussion was perhaps a little more serious than first thought. Although I do know that the side-effect from a concussion can last for weeks afterwards and some people end up with long-lasting problems. I really hope she bounces back soon and I miss seeing her out and about via my computer.

I am surprised that she is still recovering. I really feel badly for her, and I'm sure that she is very disappointed that she won't be able to attend the birthday party for the Prince of Wales. I wish her all the best.

the rest may be because of her recent fall in ukraine. i'm sure if she were, we will know soon. however, there's lots of speculation and rumours all the time, and most times they aren't true. it's perhaps better to wait for official confirmation.

Exactly. Spculations are not allowed at this board.
Honestly, if every Mette-Marit-pregnancy-rumor was true, she would hve around 15 childrn by now.
So, please don't start spreading pregnancy rumors and speculations.
They will be deleted without any notice.

Yes, carlota. That's the reason why she is still resting.
It was announced by the Royal House that MM will be resting for 2 more weeks because of her concussion due to her fall in Ukrain.

I hope she will be fit soon. What a pity that she can't participate at the birthday party of Charles! Let's hope all the best for her!

The german TV channel ZDF showed today a short report about Mette-Marit and her accident. They showed a short interview with her where she said, that she had a concussion because she fell. And then the moderator said that she maybe is pregnant, but it is not official yet. ZDF is really not a trash TV channel, so maybe it is true?

I'm sad to hear she is still ill after falling. And it is sad that she cannot go to the celebration in GB. But it is a good thing that she is resting up and taking it easy. I hope she feel better soon.

Have there been any updates reported on Mette-Marit's concussion? I expected her to be well by now, but it doesn't sound that way. I hope that she is getting the rest that she needs, and I hope that she is healing quickly.
