Mette-Marit at Glitnir Oslo City Race
I don't know if this has been posted already, but Crown Princess Mette-Marit will run 10 kilometres during the Glitnir Oslo City Race. She will - as her husband did in 2000 - run for SK Vidar (Vidar Sports Club)

10 Km is NOT a marathon! Not even close. It's about 1/5th the distance.

Mette-Marit will run (is running now) 10 km of the Maraphon, so technically she's running the part of it. good luck to her. She is in good shape if she argeed to take part in it

Great stuff. I hope we won't see any black on MM today! It's fascinating, both Haakon & MM are as close to the public as possible and it seems to work in Norway. I am not surprised they are so popular especially with younger people.

Good for her for taking part in the race. 10K is quite an accomplishment whether you are a beginning runner or an experienced. It's nice to see that she was out there. By doing so she encourages other to exercise, which is always a good thing. Looked like beautiful cool weather for a race, which is always nice.
