King Harald defying medical advice
King Harald's personal physician said that Norway's monarch has totally recovered from a heart operation in April, but questioned the king's return to a hectic schedule of duties. Queen Sonja and King Harald at centennial celebrations in Trondheim this July. For the time being the royal couple are enjoying their duties too much to cut down.

Norway's King Harald told to cut public duties
September 8, 2005, 1:22:42
Norway's King Harald has been advised to cut down on his public duties by his doctor.
The monarch's personal physician, Halfdan Ihlen, says although the King has recovered well from his recent heart operation, he still needs to take it easy.

Have there been any more information about King Harald and Queen Sonja's Visit to The United Kingdom yet?Because i'm wondering about is it a State Visit or an Official Visit? And the Banquet too?Because on The British Royal Website's Royal Engagement Diaries, there is no signs of the visit yet, and on those day 25th-27th October, other Royals such as The Duke of Edinburgh, The Countess of Wessex and The Princess Royal also have engagements but not any about accompany with Their Majesties on visits yet, maybe we still have to wait and see later, maybe The Duke of York or The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall will accompany with them, it would be a great and historic visit if no members of British Royals go accompany with them, it seems so weird.

Funny newspaper article
Sometimes there pop up cute little stories on common people's experiences with royals. I found this cute and fun article regarding King Harald. The King gets a lot of mail, but he takes his mail seriously. At least according to this article :) And Aftenposten is a serious newspaper.

What a lovely folk costume Queen Sonja is wearing in these pictures, wonderful! Is this the school that was mentioned in the annual programme with the Royal Family in 2004? My memory tells me that she talked about this place then too...

Kongen åpnet «fasade»
Da kongeparet åpnet barnehjemet Lions Club Bergen hadde gitt i Romania i 1999 åpnet de en fasade. Bergen Lions hadde ikke betalt for seg og er nå dømt.
