The Queen also attended the board meeting of the Queen Sonja Print Award yesterday.
In other news: TV2 broadcasted (on september 3th) one of four special made episodes of "Gutta på tur" (travel-TV show) at 20:00. And (as announced in June) the Queen was their guest in the first episode.
See some of the The Mountain Queen's private pictures and a video from the journey to Hardanger, which was recorded this year, in this article:

Her popularity has went through the roof here since her 80th birthday, and there have been 3 or 4 programmes about her on NRK1 alone after the celebrations in July.
About Gutta på tur: Roughly translates as "The Boys on a Trip" was a Norwegian travel-TV show starring Arne Hjeltnes (writer, television personality and politician), Arne Brimi (famous chef), and professional cross-country skiers Vegard Ulvang and Bjørn Dæhlie. TV2 broadcasted the successful show from 1995 to 2002.
They also broadcasted a comeback program in December 2010, where they were on a fishing trip with the King in the Vefsna-waterway in Nordland.

She is just so amazingly fit this amazing Queen Consort of ours - see the TV2 article for pictures and video in my above post from earlier today about the ''Gutta på tur'' stuff (travel-TV show).
Quotes from the TV2 article - translated by me:
Quote:
On Sunday, finally, "Gutta på tur" were back on the TV screens after many years absence.
Arne Hjeltnes, Arne Brimi, Vegard Ulvang and Bjørn Dæhlie had with them a very special guest in the fall season.
Queen Sonja herself.
"When it become clear that we were going to make a new series of "Gutta på tur" we obviously had a wish list of guests. At the top of it was Queen Sonja,'' Arne Hjeltnes has previously stated to TV 2.
And the desire were fulfilled.
"There are few in the country who can match her touristic interests and merits. The Queen has been everywhere in our country,'' says Hjeltnes.

Quotes from a VG article - translated by me:
Arne Brimi stolt av dronning Sonjas blinkskudd - Kongehuset - VG
Quote:
Queen Sonja's (80) private pictures from "Gutta på tur" shows how nice we had it," says chef Arne Brimi (59).
After several years of break, the TV success from the 2000s was back on Sunday evening.
The first guest was Queen Sonja.
"After 25 years, I think it was time they invited a woman," says Queen Sonja to VG.
"I think it was nice to join and showcase one of Norway's most beautiful mountain areas.''
''To spend three days with queen Sonja was very sad. We have a phenomenal Queen. Imagine she's 80,'' says Arne Brimi to VG.
He and the Queen spent a lot of time together during the recording, and shared many stories and opinions about food.
"She is very knowledgeable and interested. I'm so glad we have a Queen who is engaged in food," says Brimi.

Thanks Eya for the info as KH is my favorite king, he always has such a great smile and attitude when he is out working and among the people. I think the people of Norway are darn lucky to have him as their king as he seems so warm hearted and friendly among them. I have always liked this man for many decades now........his presence really seals his loving nature for all to see.

Article - some quotes translated by me:
https://www.moss-avis.no/nyheter/mos.../s/5-67-499117
Quote:
Eva Jensen from Moss (city in Norway) is invited to Afternoon Tea at the Royal Palace with King Harald and Queen Sonja.
She's the head of Moss Dementia Association and is invited to the Palace for her longstanding and impressive efforts as an volunteer for people with dementia and their relatives.
"It was completely unexpected to get an invitation from the palace and it feels a bit odd. But it's not just me alone who is invited there. We are many volunteers from all over Norway who have received this invitation, "Jensen says modestly to Moss Avis (paper).
|
It's going to take place on October 17th.
The article goes on to write that the King on the royal house website (Kongehuset.no) says that he and the Queen often meet older people who make a great volunteer effort for their communities.
"This is of invaluable value for society, but also for the individual who gives themself and their time this way," the King says.

 Thanks eya!
Article from NTB for Adresseavisen and other papers - with some quotes trancelated by me.
Dronning Sonja med egen kunst på dansk keramikkutstilling -adressa.no
Quote:
'' The exhibition is an exciting walk through 30 years of history. It's a story about the uncompromising struggle for art - and for the pottery's place in the world of art. It's a time frame and a reminder of all that ceramic art can be, "said Queen Sonja in her opening speech.
Queen Sonja has had the pleasure of working at Tommerup, and one of her ceramic works is part of the exhibition.
"I also feel deeply grateful for the fact that on several occasions I have been fortunate enough to create somthing here with you - and so on, have taken part in a small part of your journey," said the queen.

 Thanks to polyesco and iceflower!
Continuation of the last part of post 180:
The NRK article I posted about the Queen's visit to Lista Lighthouse on October 28th has now been updated with a video - go back and watch it.
Here's a YouTube video of the interview she gave to NRK:
Some of what she said:
Q. Why did the Queen choose a separate exhibition at Lista?
A. ''It's the nature and contrasts. It's great to see the ocean out there. It's always fun to get around the country and see other places.''
''Southern Norway is absolutely breathtaking, at least in the summer,'' said the Queen and smiled.
She also said, ''I have heard a lot about this gallerist (Alfred Vaagsvold) who has been active for thirty years. Then it's very nice to visit someone who has been active for so long.''
In other news: Here's an english Royal House article about the Texture opening on November 2th:
