the St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague, Czech Republic, on December 23, 2011. International heads
of state and thousands of mourners came to pay their last respects to the dissident playwright
who led the Velvet Revolution that forced communist rule in Czechoslovakia to crumble in 1989,

According to 'Omrop Fryslan' (the Frisian tv channel), the car of the prince has been spotted in Leeuwarden. Only a chauffeur was there, so it is suspected that the prince was iceskating in the area (like much of the country at the moment). I am sure that the prince or maybe even the Queen will turn up at the eleven cities skating tour IF it finally goes on... let's hope for the best as from sunday there will be a thaw again.

His face look so sad and worry! I am sure it is a difficult time to appear in this public events

I keep them every day in my thoughts and prayers !!

The face of Prince Willem shows perfectly the state of the family :(

Prince Willem-Alexander looks so stoic in these pictures, he is clearly dealing with a lot o difficult emotions!

HRH will be on a test trip to London on board "Hms. Holland",a new naval patrol vessel of the Royal Dutch Navy.March 14th.

The trip will go to London as the Prince will handover something special to the British Maritime Museum in London tomorrow. The decoration that once adorned the 17th century Flagship "Royal Charles" of the British Navy.

It was captured by Dutch Admiral Michiel de Ruyter during a surprise attack on the British fleet in Chatham.

The piece will be on loan to the BMM from the Rijksmuseum,Amsterdam.

In London he was met by prince Michael of Kent (among others). Now I have nothing against the prince, but a pity that none of the Windsors higher on the royal ladder could grace themselves to meet the crown prince. Not surprising at all of course, esp. if you consider the idiotic proceedings at the wedding of William & Kate. A pity that these foreign royals keep lining up to go to the UK. I am sure that they will all show up for the jubilee of EII - a quick lunch probably, or maybe they can order take away fish & chips for them in the canteen of Bucklingham Palace. I guess it is good PR at home for them.

Well the engagement was at the Greenwich Maritime Museum and Michael is Commodore in Chief of Maritime Reserves so it seems appropriate enough that he would be there to great the Prince of Orange.

The Prince of Orange and the Chair of the German Bundestag,Norbert Lammert, will share the Patronage over a day of the german language on april 19th.

The day aims at getting more students interested in german as their numbers are declining, and very much so.

Yesterday I had a great day. I had a day off and went to Barendrecht to see the prince of Orange. Barendrecht is a place 15 minutes away from my home.

The prince was in a very good mood, very friendly. I got a handshake of the prince!

Here some of my photos:
