I loved her dress, it looked like a jackie kennedy dress, especially with the hat. however I must say I didn't enjoy seeing the two decorations in the places they were.

Apparently actress Carice van Houten was invited for the lunch, as was movie director Paul Verhoeven and actor Pierre Bokma.

I, for one, wouldn't believe that Princess Maxima is pregnant again.

The Princess said they didn't wish for another luxury resort with deeply impoverished locals surrounding it,but an attribution to develop the country, and hopefully others will follow their example.

This is great! It is really admirable that they are looking for a vacation getaway in such a positive manner. I really respect the fact that they are trying to help the locals.

Anyone ever noticed how much Prince W-A looks like a younger Albert Finney (think the movie Tom Jones).
The photo shoot that I saw at Tronoopvolgers' blog of Maxima and W-A on bikes with the girls had some shots of W-A that were very Finney-like.
Here's Albert Finney in the late 1960s: Photos of Albert Finney
Cheers!

Maxima reminds me of Madeline of Sweden at certain angles.

Yes. You are right. She ressembles a little to her...
But I was amazed when seeing the pic in which she appears with his husband and the Queen en Italy. What a pinky stuff! Look at the Queen and the Princess outfits...Scandalously PINK! And also Prince Willem's Alexander's tie...
My...I've never liked pink in the clothes. People dressed in pink looks as if he/she was a big meringue-cake...Do you know, these meringues couloured with some pink in it...

I moved a discussion about Princess Maxima's style as a royal to this thread, called: 'Analysis of Princess Maxima'. Please continue the discussion there.

I remember seeing pictures of Maxima and WA in Italy with the Queen. I think they were there for an opening not like their usual photoshoot though.

Reina Máxima - Novedades
Maxima - pink
However, the Queen is rather dressed in rosé ... or so I would say.
