well, i'm extremely disappointed. we had plenty of shots of Maradona but none of Maxima and willem. Stupid ESPN. They showed Letizia and Felipe at the Spain match against ukraine, why not Maxima and Willem?
Ugh...good game? It was awful. Ok...maybe not awful, but it certainly wasn't one of the better games. I'm extremely excited that the netherlands got through, I wish argentina hadn't though. I'm sad that we (err...the netherlands ) have to play portugal. Eh...I'm hoping the boys in orange come out on top, but it'll be a tough game.

i agree gomdnatt, i didn't see any shots of them from the channel i was looking at! i thought during the anthem they would show them... :(
i think it was an interesting game though. i'm not a football fan and i don't understand about it, but both teams played hard and that's great to see. i'm glad they are both in the second round, because they were the best.
nice detail to go and see maradona and to kiss the fan... how sweet and how strange it must have been for the argentinians there who didn't know maxima to be told "apparently there is an argentinian princess at the dutch part of the stadium..." :)

how funny that must have been! i still haven't watched the match, i taped it coz i really didn't want to get up at 5am! i hoped to get a glimpse of W-A & Maxima, but you're all saying that they didn't show them! :( maybe SBS showed them though...one can always hope!
