that's true...Máxima is my favourite princess:) .The bad thing is that she is not very popular here in Argentina.Everybody knows who "Máxima" is(Máxima is not a very common name here in Arg.) but there is not much "fanatismet" here:(
I love princess Maxima. She seems so down to earth with such a strong personality. Unfortunately, she isn't in any magazines in Australia that I know of. The first time I heard of her was at CPs Mary and Fredericks wedding. The only place I can find out about her is the internet.

Maxima looks as radiant as ever, just looking at her will cheer you up. And because of her personal charm she can get away wit...well...this dress. The shiny fabric fits the chinese theme of the night btw, and the earrings are funny.
Was this event at museumpark, in front of the royal concert building? A pity I didn t go there last night when I had to walk my dog.

To 'Princess Maxima'
I understood from an argentinean friend who is from Buenos Aires, and who lives/works in The Hague that she is well-known/popular in Argentina. She appears in magazines a lot, and I was quite surprised that my friend told me that Maxima was going on a state visit to Argentine, before I knew it. Apparently it appeared in the Argentinean press.
According to my friend it is VERY uncommon for women from Maxima's class, to build their own carreers, chosing to live abroad (NYC), instead most of them pursue an easier life in Argentina. She appreciated Maxima because of this.
The press attention in Argentina for Maxima must be great, I think the reason she is not going there as often as before is because she is followed by paparazi's all the time.
I agree! I think Maxima looks radiant in this purple outfit. It's so flowing and dreamy. I've always thought that Maxima was very much a girly girl -- she likes fashion and is big on accessories. This outfit has to be one of her most girly-girl outfits (which is not a criticism), and I love it! :)
Can someone who knows about Queen Beatrix family tell me if she and Prince Claus were thought to have a happy marriage and good family life? Do people in the Netherlands think W-A is a good guy?
Yes I think everyone thought of them as a happy couple and I think they really were. Pf course Claus had first problems to be accepted in the Netherlands and later he was standing in the shadow of his wife The Queen but they were a happy family.

Beautiful dress, makeup, etc. She looks great. She is probably the best dressed CP. She looks very happy--just radiant!
The Swedish, Belgian and Dutch royal women frequently wear Natan and when they do, they look smashing, I think. Of course, I am not well versed in fashion so I am sure I miss some of their Natan outfits -- but those I do recognize, I like.
I think she should have worn her hair up. With such a pretty and flowy outfit, the hair just makes it looks unkept. A simple french twist or something like that would have done wonders. She looked good overall though.
I agree with SpiffyBallerina, the hair would have looked better up, maybe in a loose twist or something. It looks a little messy as is. Is she growing the bangs out?
I like the dress's top and color, and the floaty material. Don't like the handkerchief hemline - it doesn't flatter her legs. Maybe higher heels would help?
Thanks for posting the photos, misshelen. I liked how Willem-Alexander's tie matched the colors of Maxima's outfit. :p I wasn't too keen on her outfit though. I didn't like the scarf (at least that's what I think it is) that she tied around her neck. It made the top seem too frilly and old-ladish.
