Article from Trouw
A group of midwives from Amsterdam will ask Máxima to sign a petition next monday. The midwives want more support for pregnant women of non-dutch origin in the lesser neighborhoods.
_____________________________
AMSTERDAM - she is foreign pregnant, goedbeschouwd, and for this reason she is perhaps jointly with other foreign pregnant women which have it less well touched. This hopes a group from Amsterdam obstetricians, that Monday for 11.00 hours with a petition at princess Máxima on the pavement will stand.
They will ring on landgoed at in Wassenaar with the request or Máxima the petition, that Tuesday is offered to a number of Member of Parliament oaths, want sign, beside the thousands of zwangeren which have already signed. In this questions the obstetricians from the region Amsterdam extra attention to the problems of foreign pregnant women in deprived areas.
From research becomes clear that the mortality under Moroccan and Turkish pasgeborenen is higher than under autochthonal baby's. They become more often in bad condition born and are more often sick. This delay starts already in the pregnancy.
For better information and care to foreign zwangeren more time and attention is necessary, to put the from Amsterdam obstetricians. And money therefore more. But special ' delay tariffs ', however, get those general practitioners, to come there not for obstetricians. On the contrary: the subsidy for extra support is stopped. This to large anger of the aid-grant-delicate: ,,It is onacceptabel that health depends on Dutch baby's on the skin colour and the district in which they are born.''
The from Amsterdam obstetricians request princess Máxima use of its position in the Commission participation women from the ethnic minority groups, ' so that all foreign zwangeren the obstetrician gets attention and care which they have necessary '.

IS MAXIMA A MEMBER OF SCIENTOLOGY?
A new scandal seems on its way to Holland. Is Crown Princess Maxima a member of a secret sect association associated with Scientology?

Maxima will be off-duty, I believe, until the baby is born. Maxima has pre-eclampsia so it is very risky for her to be doing too many official duties.

I don't know if there is any truth to this story. Are the Dutch press known to be as ruthless as the German press?

Why's it such a big deal if Maxima's a Scientologist? Hmm..Tom Cruise is a Scientologist...oddly enough. What religion is the Dutch royal family? Catholic? Protestant?

From what I've read, Maxima hasn't had to convert. If I remember correctly there was a catholic priest who gave a blessing during the wedding ceremony. She did have to agree to let the children be brought up protestant.

Not really, but sometimes they bring cr*p (the gossip-magazines). The newspapers are serious overhere, so they didn't jumped in the story. I doubt if it is true.

wasnt it about a dentist of Maxima who is one of the foremen of the dutch branch of the scientology-cult (which is even forbidden in Germany and regarded with much sceptisism through Europe.
Maxima has remained catholic btw, although her children will be raised as dutch reformed (calvinists)

The story is that she becomes interested in the dentist's ideas about making better the world in the dentist seat, without knowing that it were Scientology ideas. She invited him for a meeting at the Eikenhorst (WA and Maxima's house). There he talks also about his Scientology ideas without saying it are Scientology ideas. (Btw it seems that Willem Alexander often organize meetings with doctors, architects and other experts. Like his mother when she was crownprincess.)
The gossip mags said also that the AIVD found out that the dentist was a member of the Scientology Church and brought this news to Beatrix. Beatrix decided to dismiss the dentist and ordered her daughter-in-law to break up her contacts with him.
The RVD said this whole story is bullshit (...in other words) and that the dentist is still the royal dentist.
So, I think also this is bullshit and a real gossip-mag-story... B)

Prepare for a new party here:
The batteries that will fire the 101 gunshots when the baby is born are installed.
RTL Boulevard announced that they had a call of a witness who saw that the batteries were transported to the Horsten, where the couple lives.
According to the government information service are they testing the batteries., RTL Boulevard's royalty watcher said that we can now expect the baby quickly.
